I saw Pepe play with the Boulder philharmonic orchestra years ago. Many of the orchestra members just stopped playing in astonishment with their mouths gaping open. What the Hell was he doing? I spent a good part of the evening in tears that one man could have that much talent. I’ll remember it the rest of my life! Bravo doesn’t cover it …

Subtleties of this wonderfull playing are simply unprounancable. There is only 27 letters in alphabet so how could a man using only the few kwintylions of words express the proper prize for this mastership ? it's impossible. Impossible playing.

DIEGO BAUZIL Is a Tango called La Cumparsita. The melody was created by a Uruguayan author and the lyrics by an Argentinian, so this Tango is the perfect example of the Río de la Plata origin of this type of music

Aclaration: La Cumparsita was composed in Uruguay. I think Agustina says that because it's tango, and tango is part of both Argentina and Uruguay.

Le falta la intención que debe tener este tango. Esto tal vez porque el ejecutante no es argentino ni uruguayo. A veces pierde el ritmo propio de este tipo de obra. Exajera en el rasgueo.

+rufino sanchez Me respondo yo mismo y agrego: Insisto que en este tango no corresponden los rasgueos bruscos y destemplados. Escuchen la versión de "La cumparsita" por David Moreno, español con base flamenca y allí encontrarán una interpretación maravillosa y fluida, a pesar de que él, como Pepe, no es argentino ni uruguayo.

+rufino sanchez , asi es estimado, este tango esta tocado con los efectos que en otra epoca se hacian para que lo bailaran en europa, para mi esta bien ejecutado pero no responde al origen.

He escuchado la versiòn de David Moreno y, para mi, la de Pepe Romero es mejor. Puede ser que esta no respeta el espiritu argentino o uruguayo, pero es màs rafinada.
