- Morrow service technicians erected the Liebherr 710 HC-L in NYC for Sorbara Construction on the MoMA Tower project within 2 days. 53 W 53rd St is one of the most highly-anticipated building projects in NYC in recent decades. Morrow's expertise, planning, service and excellent safety record leads the tower crane industry as is exemplified in this time-lapse video.
The capabilities of the Liebherr 710 HC-L crane include a maximum load of 141,100 pounds and high, free-standing hook heights that extend up to 245 feet. The new design allows for quicker load cycles, improved hoist-gear performance, superior load strength and ease of assembly. With the tower’s external dimensions measuring just 7.9 feet , the crane is ideal for working at great heights where space is limited.

Hi
Morrow is definitely king of tower cranes in US but Maxim is king of all cranes
Men from marrs for sure
Bigge Crane bubba!! Fuck Maxim 😆
God job
Why waste time building the crane when there's a perfectly good one and much taller crane being used to build the subpar one?
Demon Raptor because the mobile crane is in the street blocking traffic ya knucklehead! 🤦🏼
Also because the mobile crane maybe can cost 1500 to 2500 a day ( with all the necessery employee's, drivers & extra counterweights truck ) and the towercrane maybe will cost 1000 to 1200 a day and can climb along while building maybe up to 200 or 300 meters or more over a time frame of 1 to 3 years. ( a height the mobile crane can't reach )
You do the math 😉
Ps the numbers are just estimates
