    Set up is 90% of the battle. 10% guiding it in. Trust the 5th wheel & let it do all the work for you. Lastly know how to S turn for minor corrections. Things you’ll pick up over time

    When in doubt just reset. Your setup will make a world of difference. To me it looked like you had enough space to swing it around and do a straight back 🤷🏽‍♀️ practice makes progress

    The next time You are Back in, look for the tire marks and line. Your timetables up to thatire mark.
    Or another trick.
    Put a glove or a cone. On the side you're backing in On Two little tricks.

    Line your angle of the trailer up with the painted line, also sometimes the previous trucks will leave tire tracks you can back up on

    Remember to watch rear tandems, they let you know where your heading.

    Also, if you need, while fueling you can use the squeegee for a free truck wash.

    Great Job man! keep up the work! you'll get better as time goes on for sure. one tip i could leave you with is
    to make sure to manage your clock. meaning stop only when you absolutely have to (ex: fuel, 30-min break, or just need to pull over because your tired). Because every second counts on your clock. Also try and leave at least an hour left on your clock to look for a place to shutdown for the night. saves you the headache of stressing about parking or running out of time while driving looking for parking. be safe bro!

    Thanks for the laugh. It reminded me of my first solo with a tractor that the power steering was broken. Took me 1/2 hour to get that thing in the dock.

    Biggest mistake with rookies by far is over steering when trying to park or backing in.

    Forward and to the rightowards the camera. You Would have nailed it but you keep going left.. The first 3 times forward into the right. And then you can see both sides In the Is mirrors.

    U have to remember 90pct that come in don't know the GAME from Driving to lazy DM +check what u can tape really & if u can stay 2 yrs with any company u are on your way that will be the stressful times your first 4 yrs & have a plan where will 8 be in 5 yrs & it will go fast & PLAN each & everytime

    Play American truck simulator. It’s a simulation, it will help you get the concept of backing. Plus if you fuck up, it’d just a game and nobody’s truck

    See where you went wrong?
    Your camera was in a perfect place. All you had to do was just go to it.
    I know you're still new, but that would be the best way for you to see where you went wrong. But you definitely Were heavy on the left. A lot.

      With a dry van depends on how tigh the space is Adjust the trailer tandem and I always Adjust them back before leaving at some places they going to want you to Adjust the tandem just giving you ahead up

    Never driven a truck before, went for an interview and aced the driving test, only problem, Backing Up. My issue is when I’m on a offset, I get to a point where turning left or right make my trailer go same direction either way, and that’s where I get lost

      @@eyecyallcnme3197 this is true 100%, but when I tried driving truck first time in confused me even more, but it’s because if your trailer is offset already, you need to get that trailer as straight as possible behind the truck first before you start making those small adjustments reversing or your trailer will just keep offsetting, I hope that makes sense, for me, until I get it, I just don’t get it 😄

    One other thing never block the fuel islands don't block the scales after fueling or scaling if you are going to eat go park because driving for western express is an easy way to end up on bonehead truckers channel

    I don't know why western express throw you guys out there and y'all still not comfortable with backing smh your trainer didn't teach you anything and it's going to come down where you gotta back in a dock and it won't be a distribution center.
