From Floor's official site: The first episode of the Dutch tv show ‘Beste Zangers’ aired today! (i.e. Aug. 24th) Every episode is about one of the singers and tonight’s one is about the amazing and versatile Henk Poort. It was an honor for me to sing for him!!! I know him from the days he was the phantom in The Phantom Of The Opera and His voice and that show had a big impact on me! For those who don’t know the concept of the show: it’s not a contest and it’s not about who is the best of the singers. We sing each other’s songs and enjoy making music together. This joy we shall share with you! I hope you will enjoy, I did!
In the longer version from this episode they have the reactions from the fellow singers as well. No one in the Netherlands (well, except for Nightwish and Epica fans - the symphonic metal scene in the Netherlands isn't THAT large (compared to, say, Germany or Finland) has ever heard of Floor Jansen - including the other singers. So when she came in as a "metal singer", no one knew what to make of her. And she set the stage with this performance. Everyone was totally shocked how well she sang because no one expected a "metal singer" to perform like she did. If you hunt around youtube a bit, you'll find the longer version (which helps to explain the story behind the song choices) and the episodes have English subtitles for the Dutch conversations.
Floor is good friends with Henk Poort. And that is the song his mother sang to him, so it has a special meaning for him. Floor, being Floor, added her personal metal twist to it without destroying anything from the singing part (except for speeding it up quite a bit). Henk kind of get's even with her when they both do the Nightwish version of Phantom of the Opera and he surprises her when he does the 2nd verse with a rasp, much like Marco from Nightwish does.
Some 10 years ago, Floor sang full blown opera for a few minutes on Dutch TV and she showed the singer's formant she has. Mic was then a yard far from her face. I think it was Puccini's O babino caro, or something like that.
There's something so Magical in Her voice. I've heard this now tens of times. Still i cant deny it: This Makes me cry for joy. Floor is so one of a kind. Emotions comes out through Her singing! Oh Dear! ❤
Floor can take me all over the emotional spectrum in 30 seconds. lmao. The 'Floorgasm' feels to me like a victory. Like how a football supporter feels when his team scores that final goal. That feeling including full body goosebumps. lol
It's very good to watch in the intro and the outro, when the guests speak about the song they are going to sing for the nights artist of honour. You hear why they are performing the way that they do
Well, Floor mentioned that she only uses her classical vocal technique when it is needed and suits a particular song. Otherwise she prefers using other styles in her repertoire. The reason for that is, from what I remember, that she just doesn´t feel the emotional connection to classical music in operas - it also does not allow for vocal nuances that a microphone can amplify.
Floor is Dutch, but your gues was partially correct anyway: Floor first to the Rockacademy in Tilburg, and had 1 year of Opera / classical training on the conservatory (In the Netherlands that is a University of Music, where the Classical and Opera musicians are trained). So her situation is pretty much comparable to that of those American music students who have had a basic training in classical and opera singing..
Floor is classical skilled and trained ...... she does not need the mic .......she is the most versatile singer in the world at this moment ........ she has me floored all the time
Yes and no. Most of the training is from Rock Academy and she studied classical and opera later to be able to spice up her rock and metal performances with them. Unlike Tarja opera never was here "own" style, it's just one tool in her toolbox. And being able to sing unamplified is a curiosity because you just can't sing unamplified when performing with a metal band. Mixers must be able to adjust and fine tune, and full blown Nightwish instrumentation would be annoying to sing over.
She sings it twice the speed 😜 : Vilja Lied from the Opretta "Die Lüstige Wetwe" by Franz Lehar, 1905 Es lebt' eine Vilja, ein Waldmägdelein. Vilja, oh Vilja, was tust du mir an!'
"Lustige "Witwe", please. "Lüstig" sounds a lot like "Lüstern" and is NOT what the composer had in mind. :) Lustig = happy, jolly Lüstig = does not exist Lüstern = horny (Lüster, though, as a noun is is quite harmless - meaning chandelier)
In the show she actually said she wanted to sing it in the original language the song was written in(which is German) instead of English, which is pretty cool because she never sings in German. This song is for the elderly man, Henk Poort, you see in the video. He's a famous opera singer in the Netherlands and his mother(also an opera singer) used to sing this song to him as a child, hence the teary eyed reaction. In the episode after this she sang a song called "mama" in Dutch, which is a truly amazing performance. You should check it out, it's wonderful to hear her sing in her native language!! Lots of love from the Netherlands 😊
Beste Zangers is a Dutch TV programme in which a few Dutch singers travel to Ibiza to record this show. It's not a competition. The premise of the show is to basically sing each others' songs and/or songs that the guest of honour (each week will be dedicated to a different person) has a special connection to. Floor Jansen is a very big artist in the metal scene, but in the Netherlands she gets basically no media coverage. I also believe this is the first time a metal artist has participated on this show. Usually people who do this show are well known singers, or singers that are popular at the time. During this episode Henk Poort was the guest of honour, his background is opera. Floor Jansen sang this song for him, but in her own style.
It is a German song. The last time I enjoyed it, I understood about 85 percent of the text (sung by a "diva" of the Opera in Dortmund/Bochum, NRW, Germany). Floors rendition left me with about 15 Percent understanding (lol) but it was very enjoyable as well. I remember Opera-Singers "cutting" through VERY good choirs, like a very hot knife cuts through very warm butter. Without any amplification. Very good reaction dear Valerie, as always. Thank you.
Yes, Floor discussed before getting up to sing that she had performed this song in her studies in school. As these songs in this show are all going up on spotify, it would probably be harder to do a professional mix if everything isn't mic'd. They are basically outside under a tent. Not acoustically the best for recording classical singing in the best of circumstances. I think I noticed reverb added to her mic for a more "amphitheatre" like sound but I might be wrong.
This show focuses on one person every episode, this one was the focus on Henk Poort a opera, operetta and musical artist. Vilja song is special for him Becouse his mother would sing it to him when he was young
You might like to also check young Floor, with her first band After Forever. Or her second band, before joining NW, a band called ReVamp, in which she wrote the songs herself. Dreamflight, Monolith of Doubt (After Forever), and Sweet Curse and Disdain (ReVamp) are some of my favorites.
This was an interesting reaction. I get the impression you thought she was attempting to do a full out operatic performance. You have to take into consideration that this is a tv-production. She was paying homage to Henke and adding a touch of her angle, if there was an orchestra in the pit and an acoustically opera specific hall she'd adapt to that. This is her talent, efficiently combining so many techniques and a performing persona that millions love. That is what I also educated within music production find so impressive.
Every episode the singers sing a song for the person highlighted, they will usually put their spin on it. In Sept they will all do her music, I'm excited to see what they pick! Henk, the older gentleman is a baritone opera singer and this was a song his mother, who also sang in operas/opperaettas sang when he was a child.
I would like to see something of off her Revamp albums, or Elan or Our Decades in The Sun from EFMB. I'm hoping for a Phantom of the Opera duet between Hank and Floor on the final episode!
@@wren180 Of course, I would like to see those, but who would be daring enough to do something from ReVamp. "Elan" or "Our Decades in the Sun" might be doable - not that many crazy transitions. :-)
@@Immortall1408 what was sad is none of the other singers knew about her, even though she is one of the top selling artists in the Netherlands 😕 I have a feeling they were shocked when they started listening to catalog when they choose their song lol.
the format of the program is you take some of the best singers in the neterlands. you put then together in a good in environment with good food drink nice conversation. and then you have music now every artist thats there makes a list of what he likes or hes deeper meaning to him and the others will sing a song from that list. every show his one arist as a pivot point. conclusion: music that will touch your hart every time.
If you really wanna see Floor singing an opera piece without microfone or any kind of amplifier, please check her rendition of " O mio babbino carro " from composer Giacomo Puccini. Here is the link : ua-cam.com/video/UeTyAZtV5wI/v-deo.html
Apparently she studied at the Rock Academy in the Netherlands. She studied this aria over there. She also did Puccini on national tv some 7 years ago..So I guess that she's known to singing different styles of music.
Thank you for this reaction. Floor Jansen is beast. TIP: So many reaction channels are missing out the ultra high quality 4k resolution live videos on Nightwish. For everyone who's interested in the dutch tv show BESTE ZANGERS here is an english wkipedia-link: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beste_Zangers Last week season 12 started with (as always) 7 dutch singers - one of them this year FLOOR JANSEN. In episode 1 they all sang songs connected to the life of Henk Poort, the older gentleman, an famous dutch opera and musical singer. Complete episode 1 is available online at the tv stations page (but I don't know for how long, sorry): www.npostart.nl/beste-zangers/24-08-2019/AT_2119260
Thank you for your interesting analysis. The good news is this show will continue with episodes every Saturday evening, aired by Dutch national TV, for another 7 weeks. In first 7 episodes (included this first one) each singer listen others interpreting his songs, or songs related to him, and in the last episodes they'll sing duets. Interesting to see the episode dedicated to Floor, what songs they'll cover.. The first episode, with EN lyrics translations: ua-cam.com/video/cBf4w7N0Bvk/v-deo.html
I dont know if someone already explain this, but every episode centers in one of the singers, and the others will sing a song from the central singer repertoire, but they can put their own spin. The old guy is Henk Poort who is a theatre and opera singer and he is the center in this episode. Everybody is looking like "wow" because even though Floor is the top selling dutch artist, she is not well known in the Netherlands, and she was the first one to sing in this episode which is the first epidose of the season. So everyone is "haha we are fucked!"
Beste Zangers is a summer show in the Netherlands. A group of professional singers from a whole set of different styles come together. Each episode one of the singers gets sung to by the rest. Those other singers will do renditions of the singer in the spotlight and/or songs that are important to the singer in the spotlight. It's not a competition. This episode had henk Poort as the central figure. he's amongst many other things a opera singer, and this song was a song his mother used to sing at home when he was little. The concept of the show is really cool, and there is a youtube video out there of the whole episode with english subtitles. Oh minor peeve. Jansen in Floor's case should be spelled with an S and not a Z :)
Thank you so much for your reaction! And yes this was something different but Floor said she doesn't like to sing in opera style like she used to that's why she made some modifications n.n
Floor is simply The Best. The Belgian (Flemish) equivalent of this Dutch show is 'Liefde voor Muziek' (Love for Music). It featured Within Temptation singer Sharon den Adel in the 2018 edition. Here are all her performances from that series: ua-cam.com/video/BIGYkLIN4Xg/v-deo.html
Loved that you reacted to this. Floor is truly an amazing singer. What I love is that she’s real and also not a one trick pony. You mentioned classical training and here’s an example of Floor singing Puccini. ua-cam.com/video/UeTyAZtV5wI/v-deo.html
Another thing, the comment of "I was watching everyone's reaction." She was actually one of the more unknown from all of them. They knew she was in a band that is very popular in Finland because its a finish banned, however, she was from the Netherlands so she isn't known fully so they only know from everyone telling them "Bring Floor Jansen in." so everyone's reaction they were really confused with who she was but after everyone said things like "You did that so easily! Like you were in the kitchen peeling potatoes" is one comment. So basically... this was a real first reaction to Floor Jansen to all the singers.
Beste zangers "best singers" is a dutch television show where dutch famous singers sing songs from each other. Every week has a spotlight person and the others will sing songs made by that person or songs that mean a lot to that person. That week the spotlight person was henk poort, a famous dutch baritone, opera singer and musical singer. Floor is a symphonic metal singer, so thats a match made in heaven (or in hell, depending on how you see it 😂)!
First of all: the faces don't say "What is all this about". They are pure admiration. Second: She works with a band so not with a track as you mention in your video. And then the "She doesn't have to work as hard" bit: she has one mic in her hand as opera (operette) singers are surrounded by hidden mics all over the stage. Thanks.
Thanks for your response. I actually mis-spoke about the track; the band is clearly seen backing them up. However, opera singers do not have hidden mics on the stage, perhaps musical theater singers do. I have sung several opera roles on big stages with orchestra. There are no mics, just singers who know how to fill a large hall unamplified.
Ty for the great reaction;I like to see a reaction of a 360 degree turn in Floor singing with Yours Is An Empty Hope (LIVE) after this great review, Or Amira Willighagen. André Rieu & Amira - O Mio Babbino Caro or Amira Willighagen & Patrizio Buanne ~ O Sole Mio is btw a Dutch girl
Floor has a 110 db voice that she keeps in check with the mic. Had she sang that song without it she would have permanently damaged the hearing of the people on that couch.
Thank you for reviewing this great performance! Can you please do a video explaining about how to achieve voice amplification through the mouth without a mic? Thanks in advance.
I'm amazed how a vocal coach missed so badly on the mic use ... she had to use one for the tv recording. Frankly Floor has to hold back instead of letting it go because if she lets it go at full power it will blow out the mic. I've watched about 30 vocal coaches react to this and sadly this reaction is the only one that claims Floor gets to take it easy because of the mic. This whining about singing with a mic instead of unamplified is completely unrelated to the way this show is presented. The stage was about 8 X 8 ... in a TENT ... and yet we get whining about using a mic ... unbelievable and frankly completely wrong when you take into context the venue and show format. If this was a life performance in an appropriate venue bring the comment but in this case it truly doesn't apply. Truly a shame you missed what was done, why, and how hard she worked to sing in German for her idol when she doesn't speak German fluently and never sings in German yet for Henk she worked to make the German perfect while still giving it a bit of metal twist yet slipping seamlessly into operatic as well. Instead of recognizing all of that we got criticism that came across as whining / suggestion that this was easy to do because of the mic ... BULLSH**!!!!!!! Just to be clear this was a very emotional song for Henk as his mother (a well known Opera singer) sang it often to his (step) father who Henk grew up worshipping. This meant a lot to him that Floor did it her way yet kept it beautiful (his words). He loved it! Floor nearly brought him to tears with her performance. Reason you are a coach and not a professional performer .... you can nitpick the technical while apparently being incapable of recognizing good music that was done in the singer's own style instead of the rigid performance rules you want to apply.
@@VocalSplendorStudios Hopefully the rest will be translated as well. Floor's Ep2 performance is, as usual, amazing. As well, Marko, the Nightwish Bassist has a solo project album out. - ua-cam.com/video/Kp_kNvPQlq8/v-deo.html
Great reaction Valerie. I liked it very much that you investigated the meaning of the show. A little supplement is the song can also have a special meaning for the central guest. For example: Last week Henk Poort sang for Rolf Sanches in spanish the song Noelia. The grandmother of Ralf always sang this song for him. Everybody was crying. Also Floor. It was an amazing performance. Please react on this one: ua-cam.com/video/yxz27MeixgU/v-deo.html
7.05 she says "it is a little bit weird to sing kind of a classical piece in that setting"(meaning rock metal setting). What's weird about that? Seems like she's unaware of nightwish' first singer who sang classical / opera style. And how about bands like Epica? and many more...
Btw; Floor would not need a microphone, because she has a very good classical education and she certainly does not need to hide behind any simple opera singer! However, this is a TV production and there is no other way.
Many Nightwish fans want Floor to use her lyrical voice more for the next album, but she herself has said that it is not her favorite singing style, she does not feel so comfortable, she only does it when she feels it necessary ... her lyrical voice is Impressive, in his former band after forever she use it a lot, but as she said ... she will use it when I really feel it, and not just because she can. Besides that is what Floor fans love most, its versatility
I was wondering the same thing, why is she now sining the style, when she previously said she doesn't have much training to it and doesn't even like the singing is implemented in operatic? Well, plenty of fans seem to be happy.
@@homere-d-allaure Is it though, a strength? She has to my knowledge sung two Tarja's classical era songs, "Deep Silent Complete" and "10th Man Down" but she sang both of them contemporary style instead. There's both a classical and a contemporary vession of "Sleeping Sun", both Floor and Anette sing the contemporary version, while Tarja sang both. What is her versatility Floor fans sell her? Sure isn't classical style singing. Maybe this pseudo-classical beginner level singing is okay for a "reality TV" show... but I doubt she will sing in Nightwish concerts that style... and even less record it, because that would go to professional critics.
@@Aurinkohirvi you know? I was thinking of answering you ,but when I finished reading what you are trying to say, I realize that you are one of those tarja fans who cannot accept that there are many people who prefer Floor over tarja in Nightwish ... and in general. This video has absolutely nothing to do with tarja. Floor can do what she wants with his voice and at the time she wants. and as for ..the "criticism of professionals" it is known that Floor gives a shit about criticism in general. I recommend that you worry more about tarja and his music and not on Floor and look flaws in her to prove that your Tarja is better. Bye ✌️✌️✌️✌️
@@heavy77x My comment wasn't about Tarja, it was about the classical songs Nightwish has. I love Tarja, Anette, I'm a big fan Nightwish cover singers MoonSun, Minniva, Rehn Stillnight for example. Even made positive comments to Hungarian and Italian Nightwish cover bands which call themselves "Nightquest" by a Nightwish song (too bad there were no other people giving them positive feedback). I like Floor, I used to make positive comments of her. But I simply started to hate rabid Floor fanbois. And now when they make ridiculous claims that Floor is an awesome operatic singer, belittle Tarja and are absolutely horrible to Anette, I reply. I still often say that Floor is good in contemporary sining. But she didn't make the best version of the contemporary songs every time, even though Floor fanbois so claim.
You may know opera, but you’ve obviously have not spent one second on a rock stage. I spent years standing on a stage with flashing lights, lasers, explosions, and fire whlie guitars, drums, and a screaming audience did their best to drown me out. All the while I had to play my bass, keeping the time structure, remembering the lyrics, sing on key, and move about being the entertaining front man. I’ve spent my life in awe of opera and classical music, only to constantly see our genre bear the brunt of elitist snide remarks from those drawing upon their deep well of ignorance. Pardon this child of a lesser god for having the nerve.
Nah that sounds to perfect that's a studio mix. I don't know a lot about singing but I do know a lot about audio. There is no where on God's earth that a building would have acoustics like that. Now I think Floor is capable of singing like that from her mic with a bit of audio help but the band sound too perfect to be a real live performance. I think it's tracked both the band and her voice. Still impressive though but overproduced.
One of the very few times I heard opera. One of those western genres that have similarities with classical south asian music. Plz react to Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's Nobel Piece Prize Performance. Legendary performance from an ultra-Legend. ua-cam.com/video/enI3eoa7hgY/v-deo.html
Not interesting enough of an analysis. Too superficial. I would expect a little more commenting on the voice, strong and less strong parts. I guess in the end this kind of video just doesn't interest me that much. What's the point?
Wow Frank, you wasted two and a half sentences to something that's not interesting enough (to you, which people like you always tend to forget to mention).
Vocal Splendor Studios and thank you for reacting to it. ignore the trolls. When we found out floor was going to do this, I figured it would be fun to hear the reactions of several of the better vocal coaches, and you are certainly among the best! I’ve heard Nightwish live in 2015 and 2018, and they and Floor are even more amazing in person
@@Greyhound53200 It's always amusing that people will take the time to comment how they don't like something. If I don't like something, I just move along...
@@VocalSplendorStudios Fair enough. It was only my personal feeling of the video as a whole. I am a fan as well (of both the classical repertoire and Nightwish). Your assumption of her having the training in hardcore opera, but not the daily practice, felt spot on, as well as the observation that singing this kind of thing directly into a microphone is very different to the usual setting of the song.
Yeah, you were honest. I must say I lost my respect to Rebecca Vocal Athlete when she reacted to this song. I understand being nice, but... yeah. I've heard 3 vocal coaches before you talking about Floor's classical skills. She has had one year of training to it, so yeah she can sing the style... but she is just a beginner, not good in it (not only my opinion, that's them 3 vocal coaches). Why is she now doing it though, when she previously said she doesn't like to sing in that style? Well, suppose she just entertains her fans to whom it's quite enough. Or actually to whom it's heavenly. There's plenty of rabid Floor fanbois though that claim she is an excellent operatic singer.
Floor is not an operatic singer but she has had some operatic training. This is typical of many vocal performance majors especially in the US. Most people do not understand what it means to be an opera singer. Floor does bring a classical approach to some of her work, even in Nightwish. I enjoyed her rendition and found it fun. That said, most working opera singers have had 10 years of vocal training at least.
@@VocalSplendorStudios Yep, that's been my point too, with oh so numerous debates. So yeah, I am delighted to have (yet another) support to my past comments. And being brave and honest is what I value in anyone who makes reaction, especially from vocal professionals.
There's gonna be hate. Vocal coach Zach Ansley got hundreds of thumb downs for criticism of Floor's classical skills. But he didn't care, he said he will give his honest opinion no matter what. Beth Roars (another vocal coach) and The Honest Vocal Coach also gave criticism to Floor's classical skills. Floor has ONE YEAR of classical education, think one becomes a master operatic singer in that time?? It costs a LOT OF POPULARITY AND MONEY to be bluntly honest.

Using mic was pretty much mandatory because the real audience was not present, but was instead watching this as recording at their home.
My Queen Goddess Floorever!
She sings it twice the speed 😜 : Vilja Lied from the Opretta "Die Lüstige Wetwe" by Franz Lehar, 1905
Sehnsuchtsvoll
Fing er still zu seufzen an:
'Vilja, oh Vilja, du Waldmägdelein,
Faß mich und laß mich dein Herzliebster sein!
Vilja, oh Vilja, was tust du mir an!'
"Lustige "Witwe", please. "Lüstig" sounds a lot like "Lüstern" and is NOT what the composer had in mind. :)
Lustig = happy, jolly
Lüstig = does not exist
Lüstern = horny (Lüster, though, as a noun is is quite harmless - meaning chandelier)
@@haraldschuster3067 Agreed. Franz Lehár's operetta "Die lustige Witwe" is translated as "The Merry Widow".
She can singeverything wow
In the show she actually said she wanted to sing it in the original language the song was written in(which is German) instead of English, which is pretty cool because she never sings in German. This song is for the elderly man, Henk Poort, you see in the video. He's a famous opera singer in the Netherlands and his mother(also an opera singer) used to sing this song to him as a child, hence the teary eyed reaction. In the episode after this she sang a song called "mama" in Dutch, which is a truly amazing performance. You should check it out, it's wonderful to hear her sing in her native language!! Lots of love from the Netherlands 😊
Floor will be singing on this show again tomorrow.
Awesome. Can't wait! What a fun, sweet show!

Thank you.
Floor has the most dynamics and power in her voice . She blow everyone away ...amazing.
Floor sings repertoire from Henk Poort (operette singer) in her style/version. Love(d) it.
Dutch singer of an finish metall band is singing in german. Love it!
... and the song is by an Austro-Hungarian composer ..... it's the UN in a single performance.
Roy Kliffen more of the EU in one single performance. ;)
Valerie, try "Stabat Mater Dolorosa" by Simone & Floor.
Very nice insight here what you don't normally hear even from voice teachers reacting so I learned new things today. Thanks.
That is so sweet! Floor looked like she was having so much fun!
My guess is that it might be something from Northward or the good old "Energize Me".
Ooh seems I missed some of your Floor react vids! More for me to watch and enjoy! :)
Thank You! Oh Floor, Oh Floor. Oh Dear ❤
the format of the program is you take some of the best singers in the neterlands.
you put then together in a good in environment with good food drink nice conversation.
and then you have music
now every artist thats there makes a list of what he likes or hes deeper meaning to him and the others will sing a song from that list.
every show his one arist as a pivot point.
conclusion: music that will touch your hart every time.
Its absolutely brilliant, this format could work in the USA on a family network like UPtv or similar

First song of the first episode. Floor sets the stanard high here.It is gettin' better al the time.
I'm curious if they'll be doing metal .. Should be interesting!
Don't worry. Watch her doing real opera. She nails it too
That was a different take on the genre. Powerful voice.
Oh, thanks for the correction! I knew that, (I am of Scandinavian descent.), but in my haste, I got something confused. lol
Her next song in the show "Mama" is worth reacting to - I think she did that one even better than this one.
You are realy good young woman you know lot of styles 👍💓💋
Another thing, the comment of "I was watching everyone's reaction." She was actually one of the more unknown from all of them. They knew she was in a band that is very popular in Finland because its a finish banned, however, she was from the Netherlands so she isn't known fully so they only know from everyone telling them "Bring Floor Jansen in." so everyone's reaction they were really confused with who she was but after everyone said things like "You did that so easily! Like you were in the kitchen peeling potatoes" is one comment. So basically... this was a real first reaction to Floor Jansen to all the singers.
She was singing with a Live band not with backing Tracks..
Floor!!❤🇳🇱
neat video! interesting what she did with that aria! Such a beautiful voice
That was a B5 in the end. So she still has some more notes to the top.
If you like to see her doing classical opera: ua-cam.com/video/UeTyAZtV5wI/v-deo.html Puccini: O mio babbino caro
👍👍
Ty for the great reaction;I like to see a reaction of a 360 degree turn in Floor singing with Yours Is An Empty Hope (LIVE) after this great review,
Or Amira Willighagen.
I think she adapts very well to the audience. Here is Floor in 2010 singing ''O mio bambino carro ''.
ua-cam.com/video/oYzYpQjPOC8/v-deo.html
About the microphone: don’t you think it was just for recording purposes?

Great reaction Valerie. I liked it very much that you investigated the meaning of the show. A little supplement is the song can also have a special meaning for the central guest. It was an amazing performance. Please react on this one: ua-cam.com/video/yxz27MeixgU/v-deo.html
If I remember she studied opera one year, but said: not for me to keep doing that.
You are correct.
@@Aurinkohirvi thank you!
7.05 she says "it is a little bit weird to sing kind of a classical piece in that setting"(meaning rock metal setting). What's weird about that? Seems like she's unaware of nightwish' first singer who sang classical / opera style. And how about bands like Epica? and many more...
Floor Jansen Colors Of The Wind Pocahontas: @ 😍🐱👤🌹
Btw; Floor would not need a microphone, because she has a very good classical education
and she certainly does not need to hide behind any simple opera singer!
Exactly, that is her strength !
Floor can do what she wants with his voice and at the time she wants.
and as for ..the "criticism of professionals"
it is known that Floor gives a shit about criticism in general.
Err... excuse me what was her crime? She was being quite honest. I don't think she insulted rock/metal singers.

Dimash-Passione PLEASE

You need better boxes lady!
And being brave and honest is what I value in anyone who makes reaction, especially from vocal professionals.
its so funny to listen to people who don't have talent comment on the best singers in the world
And you would know the difference? lol
