I noticed your dowel maker created a few thin spots, as the dowel got longer.
A smaller exit hole and a few spaced guides would help to avoid that.
It happens because the dowel is dancing around, as it is being cut.

I'm in the shop after work most days any I build things but it's not the same . I always think there's easier way via the creation jig anyone is capable of building . Jigs are funny , made to reproduce whatever it's designed for take little skill but be so effective when properly built

I really like the use of bearings for the sliding circular saw jig. But, there is one flaw. If that is 1/2" or 12mm your using for both the track and base plate, then you loose 1" or 25mm of cutting depth. Using 1/4"-6mm for the track and 1/4"-6mm for the plate you don't lose so much in cut depth. And use can still u a e the same diameter screws to attach the bearings to the plate. Just a thought. I do like your creativity though!

Hello, in the first gadget I would have put a screw with a spring that just by lifting the press adjusts to the thickness of the wood, perhaps with the first cam somewhat inclined as if it were a wedge that serves to raise the rest.
The guide for the hand circular saw is excellent. Regards

Doesn't 'hack' defined mean to f it up? ruin, do poorly or butcher? Nothing worse than some idioto botching the english language just to win a popularity contest. That's my definition of hack.

ALL CRAP! That sad excuse for a featherboard does literally nothing. There's no pressure there holding the wood down and nothing at all keeping it from kicking back....the dowel making jig is extremely dangerous.....this video should be taken down due to safety reasons alone.

Dowel thing was the best part. You decide what's safe for you and let others decide what's safe for them.

Why is it that so many UA-cam posters find it necessary to insert this sort of annoying, irritating, and distracting crappy-ass background "music" into their videos? Makes it unwatchable and earns them yet another "thumbs down"! I guess, as Forest Gump would say, " you can't fix stupid"!
