Well wow, just discovered this fabulous tune. I never new, until recently, what the Bakersfield sound was or even was a thing. I’ve been listening to Dwight Yoakam’s “Bakersfield Beat” on Sirius/XM for a while now and love his tunes. Now, thanks to, believe it or not, a Wikipedia article.
A local DJ told me 10 years ago that the Derailers tend to appeal to people with less inclination to listen to C&W top 40 than say oldies pop stations. I include myself in that group. With this in mind, perhaps Derailers fans like yours truly needn't wonder why they never achieved more mainstream C&W chart success.
Saw them at Blancos last nite for the first time. Great music and dancing . Never had so much fun Had a piano with them and he was good. Two stepin and swing dancing are hard to beat.
here cause of stephen king haha damn, i dont f*ck with country usually, but it like it, its cliche, its not really deep, but you can dance to it and drink a few beers haha
Well, I agree with you in theory. However, in order to be a physician or physical therapist in 38 of the 50 states, one must take what's referred to as a "bar exam". It usually just involves answering 10 true or false questions. Lawyers are required to simply take an oath & do not need to pass any sort of a test. This is written in the U.S. Constitution.
@@monerz1 lmgtfy.com/?q=bar+exam Tell me what the first 10 searches say? "A bar examination, or bar exam, is the examination which is administered by a jurisdiction's bar association that a lawyer needs to pass before being admitted to the bar of that jurisdiction." Even the word "bar" has a legal origin. Physicians? Wtf are you smoking. You completely pulled the whole constitution bit out of your own asshole as well. You didn't even have to reply to my comment the first time. All you had to do was delete the comment that makes you sound like an idiot. The fact that you made an oddly specific lie to cover up the fact that you didn't know what the bar exam is is extremely pathetic.
Well, lawyers don't actually take a test. However physicians used to actually use metal bars to strengthen and heal broken bones. This is where the term, "bar exam" comes from. Lawyers just take an oath & then are permitted to practice law without ever taking any test.
Seen them on Austin city limits say hay went and seen them in person at a dive in Houston didn’t play any of there songs all copy song s i said dam what a waste of money couldn’t figure it out

This is the sort of down-home bluegrass music that originated in Kentucky back in the 40s.
