Sorry if the small digital noise bothered you in the video (very specific footage though), but finally I got new Rode transmitter today, so the sound quality should be better from the next one, can't wait to test it😁! Arigatoooooo! Ganbarimaaaasu! Gaoooooooo🦁😊
Rion is one of the most down to earth humble vlogger/UA-camr ever.... I love how he always eat in moderation and never waste food... I feel like I’m traveling in Japan these days watching these vlogs ... Well done 👍🏻
I used to think I had to plan out exactly where to go and what to eat in Japan, but I’m inspired by your example of just exploring the streets and trying anything that sounds interesting. Even if I get lost or the food ends up being just “interesting,” it will still end up being a good adventure & experience.
Man, I'm glad the UA-cam algorithm showed me your videos. I keep watching them all day long. Keep up the good work and show us your Japan. Greetings from Germany
“I can learn from the past but the past won’t let me down.” - Rion Ishida, 2021 Another “quotable quote” that I learned from you, Rion. You’re such an optimistic person. 🙏 The sweet potato mochi looks good and very interesting combination, too! Even you didn’t get the chance to try the coffee cola, i think the drink that you got from the burger shop is a good “substitute” 👍 and speaking of the burger, the presentation on how they serve it is so nice and they look delicious, too. Again, thank you so much for another gastronomic episode! Definitely will put this to my bucket list. Take care always and God bless! 😊
Love small Edo with its traditional architectures and picturesque shrines! Thanks for the tour. And, always look forward to your "little extra" at the end of each video. Love hearing your philosophy! Delete the bad memories but save the experiences, good and bad, on the hard drive! And, if you ever feel like you are stalled, hit the refresh key! 😄 And Let's keep walking!
I commend him for talking to the camera directly when he's filming outside, when he could just dub it later when he's editing the video. It musn't been easy dealing with people's stare. Nice effort 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I've been to Japan only 4 times and I haven't been to most of the places in your videos. I'd love to come back once pandemic is over. Thank you for giving us a tour ☺️
Loved the way you simply explore new fun places and food. It’s like still round the corner, there may wait, a secret gate or a new road. Feels good to be lost in the right direction.
I am OBSESSED with your culture and as soon as I saw the geisha’s, watching memoirs of a geisha as a kid just came flooding back😹 Love your videos and you have a AWESOME personality for this 💜🤟🏾🤟🏾🤟🏾
Beautiful Kawagoe place, Kushikatsu just 100JP¥ really cheap and looks crispy ~~, mochi inside so special red bean combine sweet potato 😋! Wagyu mini burger 🍔 ~~ and the drink top put a cute super mini burger 😄! These two places Kumano Shrine and Hikawa Shrine also nice place! I really like these so beautiful colorful wind chimes 🎐🎐🎐😍👍!!! Perfect 👌
Hi 👋 Really enjoyed the shrine and it was beautiful. Tried watching the longer version but I enjoyed your edited version better as it’s 1:30 am in the USA so I’m tired right and ready for bedtime. Thanks for sharing your trip. 😊

Yea you got a haircut! Looking good! Omg I miss Japan so so much!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I love those little streets and the culture is amazing. Coca Cola makes a coffee soda, very interesting. Maybe they sell in market over there?! 😊 The shrines are beautiful in Japan! I try to visit each one when I’m in Japan. So peaceful.
ありがとうございます。The video is really good quality, thank you so much for bringing us from the train to Kawagoe. It feels like we are visiting with you. I went there in 2019. I love the small edo street, but the stores close so early though... around 5pm. Then after I walked to the Kawagoe Onsen, which took me around 30-35 mins walk. It looks quite country side there, at one moment I thought i was lost.
Thank you 💕 for showing us that lovely town with all the temples! All the pretty coloured kimonos and street food is making me crave visiting Japan even more! Hopefully soon everything will start to get safe so we can visit Japan. Stay safe rion XX stay safe everyone 👍🇬🇧🇯🇵
Loved visiting Kawagoe. Arigatougozaimashita, Rion, for the great tour. Kumano shrine was peaceful and beautiful. The stone walk was very interesting. I would like to try it one day. 👍

I have walked on the stone path at the shrine and it was painful. We saw a really old woman walking the path back and forth multiple times. 😅 She was amazingly resilient. Great video!
Kawagoe is one of my favorite day trips from Tokyo. It's unfortunate the small stores on the traditional candy street were closed. When I visited it was a bustling street with many people. Loved the place with the fūrin and those wagyu sliders. Thanks for the tour!
