      Where's the justice?
Jailing the perpetrator is now an act of systemic racism for which the victims are blamed!

I am sad to say it has become almost a custom around the country for the people responsible for textbooks in the classroom to wait until the Texas Board approves a textbook, regardless of subject matter. I don’t know how long that has been going on, but it is a while. I went to school in the 1950s-1960s and have no idea how those decisions were made where I lived at the time.

I wouldn’t be posting about the events in Houston in 1917 if I didn’t appreciate the significance of all these riots/massacres. I also appreciate the seriousness of all this being omitted from US history textbooks. This was omitted even in my college US history textbooks. As a white person, it helps me appreciate the unrelenting persecution African Americans have experienced even after their chattel inslavement ended.

I know they are very similarities those names. It’s been a while since I’ve been on either of them but I know one of them I did the for a 30 day trial from my sister urging me to get on there and you know just to see what it was about.
My sister was actually is on one of them for quite a few years now and even though she has found a lot of info on our family history, she’s still researching. But also like you can invite family members so you know line cousins and whoever and then they get on there and then sometimes it leads out to the branches , it’s just keeps branching out.
I think lright now on my fathers side I believe my sister was researching and there’s already 20 of our relatives that are signed up also and it’s really weird to see or interesting to see, how it branches out and everything connects.
I can’t remember which one but she still on there and she’s done tons of research into our family and you would be surprised at all the documentation that people put on there and the resources they have on there to be able to find everything about your history .
There’s a census on our family that dated back to the 20’s or 30’s saying who lived in what household , all their names and when they were born and it is really very interesting.
I did the 30 day free trial run at that time because I was just really really busy and just really wasn’t sure if I would utilize it and didn’t want to pay the monthly fee.
I’m currently thinking about getting back on there and paying a monthly fee now that I have enough time to research. But my sister she’s she’s been on it for I think like three or four years now.

I’m glad that she is able to come give her testimony at her increased age. I heard very well articulated words for a 107 year old woman that lived through such an event. That 89 year wait time to speak her conscience must have been a burden lifted. Just imagine waiting 89 years to have your voice heard from a democratic system that is supposed to be centralized around the citizens, can you?
Democrats and Republicans should both be ashamed that people like her that have been marginalized to feel like only a tool for labor that’s needed for their country during times of strife get suppressed and have to wait so long to be heard.
``What does BLM have to say about this courageous woman’s testimony? ``
