Dear Sir, I only followed your videos. I had 7.5 overall in IELTS GT.Hence, had some confidence also. After my real test, I was infurated and so much unhappy with my performance that I literally kicked in my stomach.However, got 140 overall (140,140,130,130). I thank you very much, and as a friendly advice to fellow test takers if they can remain calm even with intermidiate hick ups and one or two much worse than expected sectional performance, can achieve a good score. Just for a general nderstanding here is a bit synopsys of what I did wrong 1. Forgot to record one speaking sentence until last 5 seconds then spoke very fast but could not complete 2. Messed up one dictation which was really wrong, and received all small sentences later on 3. Wrongly filled up at least 3 words in two of the fill in the gaps 4. Fumbled a lot during the speaking tests However, I wrote 136 words in the min 50 words writing test, and wrote 3 sentences in each of the 3 writing tasks which I got one after another in the begining..There was no image recognition test.

I suggest for all of you guys to look at the center of the screen while speaking , instead of looking at keyboard or below or above the screen. It could affected us to get uncertified result. I got 125 on my first duolingo exam with only 1 day of preparing. I honestly did not expect to get a mark this high since I was really stressed while doing the test. I also wasn’t able to finish most of the writing sections of the test such as the describe the image, write on the following topic, and summarize the conversation. However, I won’t compline.

Hello, Teacher Luke! I have just gotten my test result, which the overall is 135. The subscore sections are 140 literacy, 135 Comprehension, 125 Conversation, and 135 Production. For any test takers, my pratice test's score range was about 110-145. I spent 4 days practising with your Udemy classes in writing a photograph and essay part as well as practising with your UA-cam's videos on Listening to speaking, Linking phrases for better speaking flows, filling gaps, and 100 listening practices. In a nutshell, this has covered pretty much everything about the test to get great scores as well as good learning on grammatical lessons, especially compound and complex sentences which I have forgotten all the rules for a very long time. Hi, Luke ! I've one question can we repeat a sentence during speaking which was written by examiner. For example first I miss one word during can I repeat the whole sentence if have time?.
Duolingo test not as good as everyone says. Yeah, it's easy but it literally no enough information to pass the test. I couldn't find which technical conditions should I have, an app where you pass the test can't show if you did everything correctly (in technical questions and this function can and should be in this app for sure), when I wrote for the support they didn't answer just one easy question and sent me links which even didn't open 😭
At min 7 you said our eyes must be either on screen or keyboard , what about when we are speaking ? Should we still look at screen or our eyes could be on webcam ? I took a doulingo test and of course I practiced this “ staring at screen and camera “ a lot before the exam , my eyes were on screen and keyboard and while speaking I was staring at webcam but my test result came out invalid and they sent me your test result is invalid because “ look away for extended period of time “ , but I am pretty sure I didn’t look away at all , for 1 hour I was sitting at my desk like a robot and my laptop in front of me and totally 100% I was aware of where I was looking at .

Hi Luke I wrote 4 times they gave invalid the reason when you speaking you - During the speaking section, it was evident you were reading a response that had been written out. This is not permitted. Your response cannot be prepared in any way and must be candid in order to receive a certified result. You must test again. Please give me the sollution

Hi Luke, I have attempted the test 2 days back even though there was no other applicable running in the background still I got not certified mail by saying "You broke 1 test rule. 1. You had another program, application, or window open or running during the test. Please close every other program, application, and window before testing again." Hi, I am pretty sure you cannot use sunglasses. But please check with the official DET support team as they might be able to allow it if it is a medical condition. I don't know if they will, but you should check anyway. Good luck

Hi Luke, i am getting everytime like this " During the interview section,it was evident that you are reading a response that had been written out" . For why it is coming like that I don't know. I took the exam more than 4 times, but everytime i am getting like this only. I am totally disappointed. Even after appealing also they will send the same thing. add the two more unofficial rules, that's don't look at time timer(on the left side top) as eyeball moves, it will cancel your test. and another one, don't look at the keyboard continuously for 5 minutes, look at the keyboard in 1 min interval.
yeah this is right, i have been not certified many times because "i look away from the screen" reason. especially when the interview session, it really is probihited to look away except when we're typing

I took a doulingo test and of course I practiced this “ staring at screen and camera “ a lot before the exam , my eyes were on screen and keyboard and while speaking I was staring at webcam but my test result came out invalid and they sent me your test result is invalid because “ look away for extended period of time “ , but I am pretty sure I didn’t look away at all , for 1 hour I was sitting at my desk like a robot and my laptop in front of me and totally 100% I was aware of where I was looking at .

It is very hard to keep eyes on screen. When I tried to memorise of think of phrases, my eyes turn to a corner naturally.

Hi Luke I wrote 4 times they gave invalid the reason when you speaking you -
During the speaking section, it was evident you were reading a response that had been written out. This is not permitted. Your response cannot be prepared in any way and must be candid in order to receive a certified result. You must test again.

Hi Luke, I have attempted the test 2 days back even though there was no other applicable running in the background still I got not certified mail by saying "You broke 1 test rule.
1. You had another program, application, or window open or running during the test. Please close every other program, application, and window before testing again." Can you kindly suggest any solution for this. Need your help please!!

Hi, I am pretty sure you cannot use sunglasses. But please check with the official DET support team as they might be able to allow it if it is a medical condition. I don't know if they will, but you should check anyway. Good luck

Hi Luke, i am getting everytime like this " During the interview section,it was evident that you are reading a response that had been written out" . For why it is coming like that I don't know. I took the exam more than 4 times, but everytime i am getting like this only. I am totally disappointed. Even after appealing also they will send the same thing. Could you please let me know the reason behind this.

add the two more unofficial rules, that's don't look at time timer(on the left side top) as eyeball moves, it will cancel your test. and another one, don't look at the keyboard continuously for 5 minutes, look at the keyboard in 1 min interval.
yeah this is right, i have been not certified many times because "i look away from the screen" reason. especially when the interview session, it really is probihited to look away except when we're typing
