Kapp'n Zubby Two's are hard to get, but when you get them, it's by accident. One's are easy, and three's are easy. All you do to get a one is you parry as soon as you see his hands and hear that slap sound effect he makes. Well for a three, you do a one, but as soon as his hands are somewhat open, count to three really fast. (Count to three in less than a second.) For two's, you have to wait until his hands are slightly open, then parry. Or, you do a three, but count to two. That's all I got.
Player The strongest entity Or you jump 2 numbers before the number you're trying to get (Example: Jump on 2 when you're going for 3). That worked for me anyways
The sound chip could handle it, (to a somewhat lesser audio quality) but I doubt there was enough memory in the carts to have songs this complex in a game. Don't take this as fact, I could be wrong.
Daniel H well, you could use the famitracker. It's really good at making this type of music. Edit:specifically the VRC6 version, that one has 3 sound channels, 3 of them! Only 1 game has that, which is weird. You could modify an NES to have that sound chip because it's famicom exclusive or you could just use an emulator.
Problem with this kind of 8 bit music is that you wouldn't have room for sound effects. The music would have to stop for a second. That's the only problem with this 8-bit work.
Great work, but you skipped arguably the most important part of the song. The part that the whole thing builds up to. It should start at about 1:56. In the fight, it would immediately start playing as soon as the actual battle against King Dice himself starts.
The part that's essentially an amped up version of the Die House Theme (IIIII'm Mister King Dice! I'm the gamest in the laand...)? Yeah, I was looking forward to it too. Kinda bummed.
Aw man, wish you'd cover the King Dice part of the song as well. A lot of people forget that part. Oh well, we got this cover and that makes me happy. Also, the silent bongo parts turned out great to me. It really gets you pumped for another fight, even moreso than the original did.
I really enjoyed this piece, you did a great job with it. It's my favorite song from Cuphead and I'm glad to see someone finally remix it. I only wished you could have fully fleshed it out like you did with Clipjoint Calamity, but I understand that that would be A LOT of work. This is more than enough to satisfy me. Awesome job!
The only thing that disappoints me about this remix is that you missed the section for when you actually fight King Dice himself. I would have loved to hear that in 8-bit. I guess it really is just The King's Court, then.
Love the visuals on the pitch bends lmao, only thing I'm not a fan of is the phrase right at 0:23, like 2 or 3 notes just sound a bit off, might just be me though
Whoa. That’s all P.S: as a side note, could you do Spaceport Alpha? It would be basically my Christmas gift of the year. If you can’t do it, I understand. I’m pretty sure that the Diddy Kong sound font can be difficult to transcript from the N64 to the 8-bit style since it’s so unique.
I know Pokémon isn’t really your thing here, but I would absolutely love to hear your take on the Ultra Necrozma battle theme from Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. It’s an awesome piece.
*[sees the note bars moving up and down]*
WHAT IS THIS SORCERY
Kameedrill the Serial Doodler Pitch bending.
well I gathered that but I never saw it used in prior 8-bit tracks
Kameedrill the Serial Doodler It has been used in a few tracks before. But rarely.
Kameedrill the Serial Doodler HAHA
Charles H. Seriously?!
Only a man under the Devil’s rule can make notes wriggle.
Now hand over the contract, bud. I caught you pixel handed.
Nope
*OH NO!*
*blj pause buffers out of the building*
aha you fool, i have built up speed for two years!!! now watch me as i make my escape!! but first, let me explain what a parallel universe is
Im just blj-ing on the notes. *comes across wiggling note*
WAAAAAAAAA
"Sorry Cuphead, but your contracts are in another Die House."
Make sure you don't mess up your timing when hitting them pink dice!
Kapp'n Zubby *START OVER*
Chamber Kingston (puts finger to lips) Shhhhh...we don't speak if that...
Kapp'n Zubby I cant hear you its to dark
Kapp'n Zubby

Holy shit, wobbly notes!
yeah, they were in his Splatoon 2 Fins and Fiddles video too
Bend it
Can we please get a Murine Corps 8-bit remix?
Ok part of it is just wanting to see Werner Werman in shades but still it's a really good song.
seconding this for the actual song
i third this motion
*I THE NUMBER AFTER THREE IT*
I fifth you all
I sixth this.
I'm gonna be honest...the drum parts are my favorite in this remix. It's just so damn catchy. Well done my man
IM SORRY
BUT THE VISUALIZATION OF THAT VIBRATO.
IT MAKES ME DIE. I NEED *MORE.*
That crunchy percussion at 0:26 is amazing
The bouncy notes are amazing.
what the fuck. notes don't just move man, you've messed with the natural order
Zxara Amador no he fucked it up now i cant pianoplay it
oof
If loeder wants the notes to move, the notes will move. End of story.
i was mostly just joking, obviously he can do whatever he wants. it was just really jarring
Mr. Rapenstein oh sorry, I thought you were being rude. It's always hard to read it in the right way on the internet 😅
Oh man, the amount of times I made it to King Dice but got killed because I was bad at parrying. Good Times.
Dang, the NES could play stuff like this? Wow.
The more you know.
The sound chip could handle it, (to a somewhat lesser audio quality) but I doubt there was enough memory in the carts to have songs this complex in a game. Don't take this as fact, I could be wrong.

Loeder strikes again! Truly marvelous work!!
Great work, but you skipped arguably the most important part of the song. The part that the whole thing builds up to. It should start at about 1:56. In the fight, it would immediately start playing as soon as the actual battle against King Dice himself starts.

Holy, those shaking notes are crazy today
this is AMAZING (even though it's not threatenin zeppelin but i'm okay with that this time)
-all i want for christmas is threatenin' zeppelin-
How did you achieve the moving notes? Does it fit within the NES sound limitations?
Great video, by the way!

I really enjoyed this piece, you did a great job with it. It's my favorite song from Cuphead and I'm glad to see someone finally remix it. "So clever, so dapper, ya betta' believe this dice is loaded! Hi-de-ho!"
Then you realize Tetra=bit gaming uses this theme
I know it's _waaay_ early to be thinking 'bout this stuff, but you could do a Shovel Knight track as an April Fools video.
Hey keep up the work on the wiggles loeder! Your improving!

The only thing that disappoints me about this remix is that you missed the section for when you actually fight King Dice himself.
I would have loved to hear that in 8-bit.
I guess it really is just The King's Court, then.
