If you can reach 16.5 km, you shouldn't be able to shotgun ships. And in the other hand, you can make a short range line able to shotgun, but with 8 km max range. With 2km detection a periscope depth, your ability to anticipate enemy trajectory is insane, and i don't even talk about your ability to dev strike bow in ships. And if someone put a radar, you can just dive in. In a DD you are basically dead... Plus subs are small and have french saturation... Subs are one of the reasons player base is declining in the game, unlike DDs...
@@nautilus7098 A shima can't magically disappear in the water the next second and be untouchable/undetectable even to hydro/radar unless you time your ASW perfectly. Shima also doesn't have 40-50 second reload and is vulnerable to cvs and radar ships. The only defense of dds is either be lucky to torpedo the subs or pray that the sub does not shotgun as you approach to use your ASW. Did I mention that the sub can also outdamage some dds when ramming?
This game shows the stupidity of subs getting depthcharged while unspotted for a while. 11:58 only RDF-ed but planes are send at the precise location of the sub. that must have been a very good Annapolis player to judge subs distance to him so well.

This is Perfect. As a Subs lover, Gato will be the first OP sub. It's a disappoint WG make Dive battery only like 3:50 sec.
This sub has major "pees sitting down" energy....if you play this, we are judging you.

FDR get Nerd only the Attack Aircraft. And the Rest still same as old. So that CV still OP
