Released on Soundpiercing Recordings [Armada Music].
Here's the project view to my track 'Paladin'. As requested by many on my Facebook page for this.
Claimed as 'Tune of The Week' by Armin van Buuren on 'A State of Trance' #558, and supported by almost every top DJ in the Trance scene. This has been one of my most successful tracks.
What sounds like an in depth and complicated project, you can actually see it's quite simple. Only a few layers per sound, the sounds I chose created a wide/atmospheric and luxurious Trance feel.
Enjoy! Any questions, ask in the comments below :D

Thanks James, really loved this track. I'm really looking for a good way to organize everything in FL. Looks like you have everything organized really nicely. Do you have any literature on that? Or could you upload a high-res screenshot so we can see how everything is labeled? Much thanks, you the man!
I don't have any literature unfortunately. I basically organise all my tracks like you see in this video. Starting with the Kick and percussion at the top, then sound fx/acids, bassline, intro melodies, then the breakdown sounds. From a visual perspective the patterns follow the way the track is structured. Sounds coming in at the start of the track at the top, and working downwards. This structure is also loosely followed in the mixer also working from left to right.
Hope that helps :)
Thanks!!!
One of my favourite tracks! So glad I found this, your style has really inspired me. I'm just wondering, these reverbed/delayed bass sounds at 4:10, are those samples or did you use a synth for it? I'm really struggling getting these kind of sounds that make a track unique, basic stuff like drums bass and plucks isn't a problem, but I can't seem to find any fx, like the intro vocal or other athmospheric sounds. Any tips on where to search for these kind of sounds?
Спасибо 🔥🎶👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Madre mía. I love you.
James Dymond thanks, I propose you that create a video tutorial for the bass :)
Like any way
FLP Goals.
thanks james…but…why don't u use any compression?i don't see any plugin :) thx!! =)
Usually I only compress my kick (if needed), bassline and sub. Only ever time I compress is for a certain reason, like making percussion more punchy or on bus channels to tighten up the group sounds :)
Which studio monitors do you use mate?
masterizas with you ? Digital or Analog ?
Sample pack list and vst please!
Can you do a tutorial!? like step by step :) with talking lol
Hey James where can i download such vocal effects ????
Search for sony pocket diva, most vocal samples are from that package
thnx buddy ;)
Just a little SATURATE... but good ✌
FLP Please ?!!!
