- A Spring Night in River with Flower and Moonlight (春江花月夜) is a classical and elegant Chinese ancient song. With its Chinese ink-painting-like stroke, the song tranquilly and strongly outlines a mountains-and-waters painting scroll-like scenery with soft-color and elegant hue, presenting us a charming landscape in a quiet spring night, with the moon rising from the Dongshan Mountain, a little rowboat drifting on the lake, and the shadows of flowers in riversides flickering.
This version which is rearranged by Chenxi in classical guitar is elegant and delicate, with both inheritance and creation. The song is full-fledged with wonderful fluctuation, and illuminating and thought-provoking.
《春江花月夜》是一首典雅优美的中国古曲，它以水墨画般的笔触，淡远而苍劲地为我们勾勒出了色彩柔和、淡雅清丽的山水画卷，向我们展示了在春天静谧的夜晚，月亮从东山升起，小舟在江面荡漾，花影在两岸轻轻摇曳的迷人景色。
这首古典吉他版《春江花月夜》是陈曦改编演奏的，既有继承，又有出新；既气韵优雅，又刻画入微；既音乐丰满，起伏有致；既富于形象，又耐人寻味。
About Chenxi
Chen Xi (陈曦), a native of Tianjin, was born in January 1991 to a musical family. She began studying classical guitar at the tender age of 5 and won her first local guitar competition 4 years later and have since graduated from the Tianjin Conservatory of Classical Music in guitar.
She is one of the most popular classical guitarists in China today, having won numerous major domestic and international guitar competitions, including the seventh Thailand International Guitar Competition and the third Singapore International Competition.
Known an outstanding creative performer, she have creatively adapted many well-known works, incorporating elements of Chinese folk instruments such as Guzheng, Pipa, Erhu and other instruments into her repertoire. Her performance combines an enthusiastic performance style and a meticulous arrangement grounded in technical proficiency which has earned her a strong following in China.

Music truly crosses boundaries. As Mr Tom cn said "在吉他上弹琵琶", beautiful. Opens my eye. I hope I can find some 琵琶 instrumentalist will play some western pop or light rock music etc.... such as "Hey there Delilah" on Chinese 琵琶 One of my favorite pop on one of my favorite Chinese instrument.
