Finally a manager with some character and sense of humour, seems the type of manager you’d love to play for, very happy with this appointment! Well done Clowes 👏🏼🐏
Dan PW has always been great value in his interviews. Never boring, very honest with humour. I'm a Sheff Utd fan and we've heard his interviews on BBC Sheffield over the years and he's actually well like by Sheff Utd fans because he's so down to earth with no ego, can be quite emotional too. As you say the type of human being you want to do your best for.
Warne was well liked and respected in South Yorkshire even amongst non Rotherham fans. His interviews are always interesting, very honest (sometimes too honest) with non of the boring non commitment cliches. He's also very down to earth, no ego, quite emotional and comes across as really genuine and likeable, however he's not soft and demands high standards. He had little expectation at RUFC so will be interesting to see how he copes at DCFC. Many Blades wish him well.
Looking forward to seeing our players put through their paces with this man in charge, The quality is there we just need to see the discipline and passion now, welcome to Derby county football club paul warne and your backroom staff🐏🐏
You cannot beat a guy who has a sense of humour and can be serious at the same time. Looks like he has settled in already with his coaches in training yesterday and players looked happy enough. Just need time now. Good luck to him and a good run needed just like Jim Smith in 95/96, 22 odd games unbeaten and automatic in one season.
I really hope he gets us back up, really honest and genuine person who wants the best for this football club, Rooney was right we need a new manager for this new era. You can tell his a lovely person, man management definitely is key with this man. I’m hoping he can get the best out of Collins and sibley.
Totally agreed. I know I would certainly work for him not some of the dicks I have had to put up with at work over the years. Most could not manage a piss up in a brewery.😃😃😃😃
good luck Warney, and your staff. i dont watch a lot of press conferences, are they all that bonkers? Players pets? ( yes you, Zouma!) Never a dull moment at this club.......You Rams!
People are ridiculing the idea that seagulls would be in a place like Cambridge but I live very near Cambridge United's ground and a group of seagulls fly past my house every day and some occasionally land in my garden.
@@CamperJoe Rotherham you tube channel.. Look 8 years back and see😂😂🤣.. The most David Brent impressions I have ever seen, though I think they are not impressions 😂😂🤣
Sounds good. Is he aloud to change Captaincy if he wanted too. That's what we want from the players every time they pull that Derby shirt on its 110% .. Welcome to Derby County, Paul. YOU RAMS
I doubt I could work at a lesser role and be told what to do at the same club. Buxton has gone back to help with the U21's but that's different all together. Change that make sense to me is to make Connor vice captain. Bird not got enough experience and cannot imagine the more experienced players like being told what to do when Curtis is missing.
You preferably need someone with experience at this level, know which players are available, what tactics are likely to get you out of the division. These guys have that experience and for me it’s a good move. I would have thought that this appointment has been on the go for some time and I’d think Liam was well aware that he probably wasn’t first choice for this season. Liam has done well, Derby are in a good position.
That was a heartbreaking watch but I genuinely wish Warnie & his staff all the very best
We all know how we felt when we lost McClaren to Man United in 1999, Rowett to Stoke in 2018 & Lampard to Chelsea in 2019.
You'll be even more heartbroken if you end up with Rosenior

Feels like we've got a proper manager at last (well Head Coach!) Here's hoping for success.
Welcome to Derby Warney. I hope you settle in quickly and give our beloved club some much needed direction. COYR 🐏👍👍👍
welcome to the club, enjoyed the press conference
Comes across really well, happy with this appointment. Bit of patience and he will sort us out. 👍

Good interview. I really like his honest approach. Good luck moving forward.
Best of luck to you in league one warne but your history its onwards & upwards for the miller's fresh new start for us CMON ROTHERHAM.
Now let's all be patient please. A change of management staff means they need time to implement their philosophy

but are they as good in the air as Warney thinks?
A man's man, who can talk the talk. He's convinced me he can walk the walk. Welcome to my club young man.
Very happy with this appointment. 🐑
Rotherham have a better manager in Taylor. From an Exeter fan believe me watch this space!
Best of luck 👍
David Brent?! His clips are on the rotherham page, hilarious 😂😂🤣
Where can I see these clips?😂

He's allowed to do anything he wants to, but it would be a big call to change the captaincy from Curtis as he is a natural leader.
We upload pressers now?
His voice sounds similar to Graham Potter.
Sounds the bollocks 🙏🏻
Derby won't get far with this man
Would have been nice to hear from our CEO today……
Seagull heads it in 😄
Don’t take note of results, why has Liam gone then?
we need to get promotion and liam isn't the guy to do that. although he could have great development at another club.
