Another thing that sets this apart from the other wave frames is that it's an absolute factory for making solar wells: with explosive wellmaker, elemental armaments, and bountiful wells, you can generate 4 wells per shot. Forms an excellent core for a lot of solar builds.
the main solar shields in "high level content" are wizards and centurions which are in the air and unhitable by wave frames and disruption break does nothing if you cant hit the enemy
Scorn captains have solar shields, but yea not sure how viable it will be in gm's and master raids. i do enjoy using waveframes, they're a fun weapon archetype.
If the slug hit them it also destroy the shield, then the proyectile falls and the fire explode as usual
This is not true and you absolutely can hit air targets with wave frame GLs by just hitting the ground below them when they’re just above the ground. Which they almost always are. Really the only air targets that aren’t hittable by wave frames are bosses that can float high off the ground.
If you were watching the video at 2:42 he kills a wizard by shooting the ground
I use wave frames all the time, and you can absolutely kill wizards with them (as he does in the video)
I’ve played now a lot with wayframes (especially explosive personality due to auto loading holster) in master nightfalls and the 1590 version of the goa dungeon and I have to admit, that the most consistent right column perk was neither turnabout or disruption break (In high end content u rarely find a lot of elemental shields, especially not solar ones, and let’s be honest the only real use for disruption break is on barrier champs) actually I liked unrelenting a lot because it keeps u alive, way better than the other 2. but I still need to say, if u wanna play it safe from a distance frenzy just straight up wins, has by far the best neutral game, especially combined with auto loading holster. Shoot a shot and get the 15% dmg boost for free, there are thralls rushing u, and u just fired a shot, don’t worry the reload from frenzy got u. This is by far just the best option. Also one for all stats for all was very nice (don’t tested the enhanced versions, got this perk combo to drop) in end game content. I’m just personally not that big of a fan spamming through your special ammo, so I prefer to hotswap to my gls. Also in strikes/places where the add density is lower it kinda feels ur wasting your special ammo.

Do not sleep on field prep!! +45 reload and faster weapon swap when crouched, and passive bonus reserves. It’s one of my favorites. Enhanced field prep is even nuttier
It's so good, but I hate crouching. It's super annoying.
@@MarkJolley I did too, but when I started sliding more it got a lot better. You can reload weapons while sliding, which makes it more bearable. Just slide whenever you need to reload and reload while doing so.
Turnabout is super good in battlegrounds as the lucent hive with their moths are all over the place and you get overshield from their moth shields
Genesis is great for them as well.
I have a roll with Auto loading and Turnabout with Unrelenting in the 2nd perk option for the last section. THiNG IS NUTS
I've been enjoying this weapon a lot, I paired it with Wrath of Rasputin too and the amount of warmind cells I'm creating is incredible (usually 1 cell per shot, varies on amount of enemies obviously), I feel the ad clear can be as good as Forbearance
Ive been running Explosive Personality for quite some time now, especially with Auto Loading + Turnabout, it works amazing as the weapon give Land Tank perk and Turnabout give you overshield, you will become a literal tank
Starting to go for this GL now so I grabbed one from the helm and it dropped with Quick Launch, High Velocity Rounds, Genesis/Auto Loading in first perk slot, and Disruption Break with a reload MW. Super stoked I just pulled this honestly, I’ve been having a blast with Forbearance on my Hunter so I think I’ll use it on my Titan.
Great Video, these seasonal weapons are HIGHLY overlooked and have the one of the best(if not best) origins trait perks in the game. In time as things sorta settle, since it's still 1st month of launch, most of these weapons will be a guaranteed carry on your character. They all have great perk pools, as more get to crafting their preferred rolls, they will be everywhere. I've crafted most of them, including 2 separate bows, 1 away from EP(been using SFA/Tricorn which destroys everything with solar sub now, can only imagine in 3.0). So far the bow is my favorite, since I mostly run endgame stuff, I made an Enh Archers/Enh Adaptive Munitions bow and DAMN was I impressed, wasn't too hot on the perk at launch, but being able to use "whatever" weapon you want to break shields(mini arby), I love bows, it's void, it's barrier this season, land tank w/ artifact mod, it's AWESOME. For those who haven't tried it yet, do so, I know I'll probably have it on me during most GMs with Barriers this season.

I have an EP from an earlier seasonal drop with disruption break + genesis + smart drift control + high velocity. This thing is so beast that I even use it in Crucible and it slaps.

I got a auto loading golden tricorn roll I’m keeping for sure cuz when solar 2.0 gets here this thing is going to be strong. I am excited to get a couple more red bars to craft this

my favorite 2 combos
Actively using: Stats for all, one for all, MAx like 3-4 stats with alot of extra damage and both proc at the same time.
passive/active: Auto loading(so always ready) and frenzy(almost always ready off a primary), and Frenzy gives you reload which will max your reload at 100, after experimenting feeding frenzy really doesn't do anything if frenzy is already active and feels like a waste.
Got an assassin/rampage deafening whisper from last season I might start using it again. Wave frames are so fun
I hated Single-shot GLs... then I crafted and used 'Explosive Personality'. I've been using it since, it's a constant equip in my loadout. I'm glad to see people are finally figuring out that a majority of the crafted weapons are legit AF.

I've been messing around with one that has genesis/Turnabout. popping shield and gaining overshield is super fun. both perks work when a hive have a moth on them as well

Explosive personality was my second weapon I crafted a month ago. Never saw the raid GL better as its the same or worse than salvagers salvo because waveframes are only usfull on the ground and I already had the salvo. Explosive is a better end game weapons & wait till sola 3.0 comes around with the golden tricon perk, it's going to be nuts

I have ambition assassin and chain reaction. THE GOAT
I have chain reaction and unrelenting. Combine that with the soul devour perk and thanks to the chaining of the weapon, not only do you kill things quickly, you heal constantly.
I have genesis and chain reaction and it's amazing. Ambitious assassin would be better, but it's still great.
I'm 2 for 2 on chain reaction, but one has surplus and one has steady hands. I need ambitious ass.

Got a stats for all/one for all drop for me. Now the only reason I’m looking for red border guns is for the triumph.
I'm an auto loading one for all guy. And blast radius does help on the impact blast, but not the wave so given the minimal gain from handling reload or velocity, it seems like that's a better option especially since you have autoloading and one for all doesn't require kills, only damage.
Yup couldn't have said it any better. One for all and auto loading with velocity is hands down the better top tier option
Fyi, swapping weapons to proc auto loading will cause you to lose one for all. Perks don’t synergize well.

YESssss! Turnabout with landtank roxors.
Something that's easily skipped because, i think, the d2 community at large either ignores it outright or doesn't know how to use or and thus underappreciates it is genesis... there's so many enemies with shields, specifically solar (though not as much as arc) ... not by itself, getting your ammo refunded every other kill unless you wait long enough, then every kill is awesome sauce... it's in the energy slot so it doesn't just get auto-loaded ... it gets refunded if you hit the requirement... by itself it makes for fun so play whether refunded or auto loaded. But mixed with its symbiotic partner in the next column that ALSO requires a shield-break, then you can be the shield-buster/room-prepper while your teammates cleanup if you ate fast enough or your team waits half a cycle for you...
So if you are so player genesis is slick on this, but if you combine this with disruption from next column and clean house as long as you are playing with either:
1. Blueberry Steamrollers in a grind session (strikes, matchmaking NFs, generic PEs, etc)
2. OR with reliable friends, buds, or actual teamplayers from clan/lfg/friends-list.
Glad someone else gets both grenade launchers AND bows... given how oft they either are or were looked over before and now are FINALLY getting used more often but the common player and streamer misses such useful, stable, and reliable combos.
Didn't get a chance to tell you on your bow video because I've got an hyperactive kiddo, but you unlocked my sub with the bow video (void one: "under your skin").
My current best Explosive Personality roll until I can craft it is:
* Smart drift control
* High-velocity rounds
* Auto-loading (want ambitious assassin)
* Turnabout
But my 2nd favorite (for running support) is:
* Hard launch
* High velocity rounds
* Genesis
* Disruption break
I, too, can also vouch for "Stats for All" / "Golden Tricorn" as well as what I dub the Hero academia roll on pretty much any weapon you will use extensively: "Stats for All" / "One for All".

So Iv seen a lot of the same opinions but in my testing running solo masters unrelenting feeding frenzy is going to be my gm god roll, the survivability just beats out turnabout due to the fact that you need a shield to break, I do think auto loading turnabout is a good option as well but from my testing feeding frenzy with unrelenting is the real tank god roll
Looked in my vault and have a smart drift control high velocity rounds feeding frenzy and golden tricorn just sitting there no need to craft
Also hawkmoon or malfeasance with lucky pants. Explosive personality with uutoloading disruption break or ace of spades but hawk n malfy or LW in pvp

The fact that you pointed out the players who can do the raid and those who cannot do the raid should really be talked about. Yes, Forbearance is an amazing GL from what I've heard from Ehroar and others, HOWEVER; if you cannot do the raid by ANY means, don't let it discourage you from getting and using Explosive Personality over it. That's something the community needs to understand when looking at these weapons.
As for me, I am able to craft Explosive Personality, but I haven't gone and done it yet. I want to because of that Land Tank combo which is so nice!

@@Ysl489 He's basically saying that people who mostly play solo who aren't able to find group of people to do the contents with, dont need to stress out about getting those weapons because there are alot of substitute to use that are equally as good. I mostly play solo and im had nothing but bad experiences in lfg. I understand what he's saying/speaking about
@@Ysl489 it's not that I'm light level enough, it's that none of my friends on Playstation wants to invite me to do the raid. But idk why they don't want to, nor do I want to raid with a random group because they might end up being assholes if something doesn't go well.
@@alphakingdp583 hmm I mean, I also use lfg a lot, especially later in the season when the clan is getting more inactive. I also had the one or other bad experience with people being toxic in lfg but overall u get to clear the raid fast and efficiently. Heck for some raids I don’t even need a mic aslong as everyone kwtd. Sitting out on raids is just the biggest L I could imagine of in this game. Literally the best content destiny has to offer. And if u really don’t want to lfg, just join an active (maybe beginner friendly) clan with some people u don’t dislike to play with and do the raid with them. I can just repeat, don’t sit out on raids, you are literally missing out!

I'm sorry but that's disrespectful, not everyone can raid because either they have stuff going on outside of video games or if they can't do LFG groups when their friends are busy. While I do agree that raids are amazing pieces of content that people can enjoy, but there are other things besides raids that people can enjoy.

Idk if I’d ever bring a wave frame in gms but auto loading- unrelenting doesn’t sound too bad
I think one hit kills are too hard in higher content to make it worth it, but I could be wrong.
@@MarkJolley Yeah the only ones I can picture would be either the void one because of Volatile Rounds or this one with Stats for All/One for All because it’s easy to proc in mobs so you can probably one hit red bars.
That’s still an extremely tough sell when you have a bunch of different options. You can blind enemies with a couple different GLs and then deal with them with what ever for one example.
Then when it comes to Controverse Hold Vortex grenades you can basically spam forever and they will demolish groups of adds while sucking them into it. Can just freeze everything with turrets or direct cold snap hits now with the gloves and deal with them how ever. Titans can just control demolish groups of adds with no effort. Titans can basically infinite spam grenades with the right set up as well whether that be something like void wall, vortex or suppression which works like a stronger version of a blinding GL. There are some other things too but all these don’t take a weapon slot.
Unfortunately in something like GMs are you really running this over a blinding GL that just turns all adds into even more mindless NPCs for 5-7 seconds for just landing in the ballpark of them? I don’t think so. Are you running this over Witherhoard if you’re playing serious? Nah dawg. If you want a wave frame for add clear, are you really running this over Dead Messenger (covers all the elements and shoots in a MUCH larger radius)? I don’t think so. Even away from GLs are you going to give up the slot of a weapon that can have adaptive munitions? Probably not.
Not saying it isn’t a great weapon. It’s just that GMs are a completely different animal.
What would you say to a Forbearance with Stats for All + Golden Tricorn? It has the best barrel perks, I don't know weather to keep it or shard it.
Definitely keep that. Crazy boosted stats and fairly easy to get a 50% damage buff is worth keeping if you learn how to use it.
Does land tank stack with max resilience though?

If it actually adds straight up resilience stats (even temporarily) then yes it will.

Piece of Mind(or any legendary kinetic), Explosive Personality, Parasyte on Bottom Tree Solar Titan running PoBS or Loreley Splendor or HoIM. Mods: Ele Ordinance, Melee Wellmaker(seasonal), seasonal font of might, explosive wellmaker, bountiful wells. Grenade and melee Kickstart... burn the world guys.

Does anyone know if golden tricorn fades away if you quick swap off the weapon? As Im not gonna be using this a ton in high end I wanna get golden tricorn on it for the big boost after a grenade kill. With my sunspot and explosions titan build Im getting my grenade back every 10 seconds and super healing from kills so I wanna know if I can hotswap off, get a grenade kill, and come back for the transformation from a 15% or somethin damage boost to a 50% damage boost
To be clear I know its on a timer I just wanna know if it was like the old kill clip/rampage where if you swapped even for a millisecond your buff dissappeared
Special kinetics dont work for disruption break, only primary ammo kinetics

currently I'm running a Genesis Unrenlenting since I figured out how to get Land Tank to last 15 seconds so, I'm kind of a tough b-tard to take down. I run Stats for all & One for All on my Auto-rifle which frankly I feel like it works better on it given the amount of ammo and infinite ammo reserves. Also side note Fighting Lion is Void and an infinite ammo weapon soo sooo many explosions from that thing.
Man I regret now so much with Neomuna, deleting everything that had turnabout, and can't craft it now either.

@@touch-- if you run the right mods they DEFINITELY are...and as of this season it seems like the drop rate of them has been upped compared to the last few seasons. I have a build on my Titan I have run regularly especially since path of burning steps came out and I am almost 99% positive the drop rate was increased for witch queen.
@@ayjbray they were nerfed though. And there are currently builds that do exactly what a warning cell build can do without having to shoot a separate target, take the volatile rounds & void SMG with reaping wellmaker build for example.

Frenzy takes 12 seconds to activate, no? Goes away after 5 seconds if not in combat.
Even if you raid, forebear ace is really hard to grind. Only 3 raids per week, need 5 red to craft. Could take forever. Explosive personality can be grounded all day in psi ops so much easier.
I've crafted the linear and regular fusion. If you're doing the extra chest at rhulk and getting secret chests it's not hard to get. Bare min 5 weeks if you're bad rng

Tried the raid yesterday .... 4 hrs later still couldn't get through. So timewise and for game enjoyment it's explosive personality for me
Spent 13 hours in the raid before my first clear. Got my first clear, and have gotten 6 since. Don't give up. The raid is super fun and it's worth learning and alot simpler than people think

@@HaydenJamal Yeah my first clear with my clan was in total about 7 hours of over two nights.
The next week our clear was in 1 hour and 4 minutes. I’ve cleared it with an LFG in around 50 minutes.
It definitely gets easier and faster if you keep going at it. At least get that clear once a week and get the hidden rooms to get 2 red frames a week.

forbearance is still better to me. I rather take unrelenting and soul drinker for constant health regen. Resistance is cool but explosive personality can damage and even kill you if the explosion is close enough to you. To get the best benefit of the resistance you have to use the mod from the seasonal artifact. Chain reaction will kill all the adds in proximity or severely damage them. Soul drinker can proc from shooting your teammates.

Bro if you haven’t and can’t complete a raid. Prioritize your gear and get comfortable. After that, get a mic and just start joining random LFGs and trial and error and learn from mistakes. You could even prepare by watching UA-cam but hands on experience builds understanding. And random people can pull it off. I’ve played since D1 and I’ve always done raids, some with clans of people I played with for long periods of time, and some with just random LFGs. Most recently my clan has already done master vow so this week actually I’ve used LFG and done every master bow challenge. Can’t wait to clear the rest of the little triumphs to get disciple slayer before lightfall. Keep grinding fellow guardians.
