She looked amazing at this concert. (I love the dress she wore for "Till You Love Me" the most.) But hey - Reba has looked great at every age. She looks absolutely STUNNING right now. Just gorgeous.
I have been playing drums for 8 years. I recently purchased a cymbal online that was supposedly owned by Scotty Hawkins. I had never heard of Scotty so I decided to look into him. Very sad to hear of his passing. RIP
I absolutely love every song on Rebas new album and to me whatever Reba sings sounds country. Tired of people expecting her to record 80's style country, males might get away with singing the same thing year after year but a female can't. IE not one critic mentioned that George Straits album didn't cover any new ground or say anything new and yet that was the main thing they were looking for from Reba, and boy did she deliver.
I am Terry's wife...Christy. Terry and Kent did not get fired...Reba 's TV career was just taking off. Everyone's job ended with that.Terry returned briefly for the girl's night out tour.He is still one of the best steel players ever....Don't listen to rumors.
Christy I met you and Terry at the ntsga steel guitar show in nashville several years ago and enjoyed meeting you .Terry is one of my biggest steel guitar heros
True country songs by females dont get airplay, her album has some lovely old style country songs on it. Maggie Creek Road and She's Turning 50 Today are well worth a listen. If you think country radio is interested in playing country you haven't listened to it lately. The fact that radios hottest country female was nominated for pop awards should have clued you in.
@krssteel I have yet to hear a backup singer that comes close to Reba, Linda Davis got a hell of a career push from Reba and still couldn't make it big as a solo. As to the band changes Reba said in her book that it was common for them to switch players as with so many concerts they needed to keep the sound fresh. I don't doubt Terrys talent, Reba always has a brilliantly talented band but at the end of the day the product people are paying to see is Reba, not the backup singers or the band.
@damirzanne Last time I checked Reba was a solist with a backing band of individual misicians hired as needed for engagements not lead singer in a band. Reba had every right legally and morally to decide she no longer wished to tour, a musician overcommiting himself financially in such a risky profession is not Rebas fault. Reba turned down her role in Titanic because she had already COMITTED to a tour when the film schedule changed and 75 people were depending on her for their income.
First of all Reba is not an asshole! And she definately had success when some artists struggled. Farmers are your average Joe! Reba happens to be a farmer..well used to be! Anyway, good song!
No she is not an A-hole...........by no means. A very good performer. Only flaw is that she tends to fire backing singers that seem to be better then her. Her hubby is a big time producer. Terry Crisp on steel is one of my friends and probably the most soulful players out there right now. Why was he let go by Reba?. Tell me that please.
@damirzanne So now farmers are morons? Gee and yet I never lost my home to the bank (either of them) not such a moron afterall:) I do love my Reba and recieving a special Drama Desk award (there was no Tony category for replacements at that time) and an Outer Circle Critics award for her performance on broadway is hardly "not too good". For a supposed "arsehole" she certainly seems to have no trouble getting awesome professional musicians willing to play with her.
I love how Reba has always supported the steel guitar players!
She was married to her steel player for a while.

Reba is AWESOME! Love the steel guitar part, my favorite.
That's my cousin Terry Crisp, he's the best now, he's with Chris Young now.
this is the most heart rendering soulful cry in your beer song I have ever heard .none better than this.awesome isn't enough praise for this song

i can hardly imagine a better steel solo ever played
This isn't "The Greatest Man", this is "They Asked About You"

Christy Quick saw Terry with Chris Young in Phoenix a few weeks ago. He is such a top notch musician.

Terry is a great player Great person
One of Reba's best songs....a true country song...not like the 'strange' stuff she does now.

Totally correct, my bad. I'll put that one up soon.
Ẁho did she vote for
