Voyage humanitaire en Ukraine, hiver 2023.
Il est difficile de parler de toutes les difficultés du travail humanitaire dans un pays en guerre. L'immense chagrin des orphelins abandonnés à leur sort par un gouvernement corrompu et complètement oubliés par le « président ». En même temps, l'héroïsme des ouvriers des orphelinats, qui sauvent littéralement les orphelins de la mort froide en réchauffant les enfants avec la chaleur de leur corps. Je ne pensais pas voir un jour de telles situations où le directeur d’un orphelinat devait choisir quel enfant vivrait jusqu’au matin et lequel ne le ferait pas.
Notre organisation était la seule organisation humanitaire étrangère à venir en aide aux orphelinats en Ukraine et nous en sommes les seuls témoins.

It is difficult to talk about all the difficulties of humanitarian work in a country that is at war. The immense grief of the orphans who are abandoned to their fate by a corrupt government and completely forgotten by the “president”. At the same time, the heroism of the workers of orphanages, who literally save orphans from cold death by warming the children with the warmth of their bodies. I didn’t think that I would ever see such situations where the director of an orphanage had to choose which child would live to see the morning and which would not.
Our organization was the only foreign humanitarian organization that helps orphanages in Ukraine and we are the only witnesses.
