How do I reset my virgin remote control?

I can’t believe this actually worked…. Ordered a new Virgin remote off Amazon… It arrived today and I expected it to work as soon as I put batteries in ( it didn’t )… I followed this video to the letter and it began to work absolutely fine 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Unhelpful guide. Discriptions don't match remote. Written guidance would be more helpful with specific match to remote in use. My remote not working before and after battery change. Specific and workable guidance please. Thank You
