The one thing I loved about this particular cover rendition of Morissette is the fact that she stayed true to the original song and didn't make any weird musical arrangements that usually changes the melody, but instead only added a few personal tweaks that made it her own without making this song unrecognizable. In fact, because of this and of course her perfect vocals combined enhanced Halo. I personally think Morissette's version is far better than the original and she also sang it better than Beyonce. I say this objectively, because I am a big fan of latter.

I love Mori to bits noone can tell me anything she kills every cover...technicality...musicality...her vocals are superb....however for me an authentic tone something distinctive to an artist is what does it for me (eg Macy Gray...Whitney...Nina Simone...Jill Scott...Lauryn Hill...Aretha Franklin...Puff Johnson etc) cah anyone with a strong vocal range can sing it perfectly (technically) so for me its Bee on this one but would love to hear it sung by Jennifer Hudson or Toni Braxton even Chloè Bailey (wishful thinking)
