The audio person needed to go back to school. The sound levels on this video are absolutely terrible. The instruments are over powering the vocals bigtime. The music is meant to compliment the vocals,not the other way around.

I just wish when they do these videos that they would get the vocals up. You gotta promote these kids better. There's alot of talent here. Don't under rate them by poor quality vocals and mixing.
I have hundreds of concerts that do sound good, this was just one where the sound guy screwed up my board feed. And all I got was a pair of microphones. It actually sounded like this in the venue, where I done hundreds of great sounding concerts before. I just got a bad sound engineer this particular time.

Im sorry but at this time I don't remember which ones they wereIf that's the case with the sound guy; maybe there should be some retraining then. . Sorry to be critical but I'm a sound guy myself and I like to make who ever I am mixing for shine..

It was some other peoples videos of School of Rock that were not where they should be. Again, please except my apology. Next time I will pay more attention who's name is on the video. Mike
They're from all over the US, but there are so many there are familiar from Chicago area simply because Chicago has so many great School of Rock locations, especially Chicago and Oak Park.
Amazing performances - holy cow! Too bad the mix isn’t better - vocals are either buried or muddy. I found this the case with some other SOR videos I listened to. Doesn’t have to be that way. I hope SOR event organizers appreciate importance of a good mix…
I get the sound mix from the board. Short of being able to get isolated recordings of every single microphone, it's always going to be guitar and bass shy. Nobody ever praises my video work. They only complain about the one thing over which I have no control.
Can't even hear the singer. Mixing sucks! Otherwise a good performance by the musicians. Just gotta love it when kids have so much fun jammin' and playing rock. Really liked the Nirvana song.
Can you give me a time mark in minutes and seconds? I know of one pair of twins who both got into AllStars, but they were on different Teams and played different cities.
