I can't believe the Norma Whitney connection, I actually teared up. I loved that movie so much growing up! What a badass grandma to have. Happy Birthday Norma
I teared up too! A League Of Their Own is my favorite movie of all time. 🥹❤️Norma and the ladies of this league helped girls know that they could play sports and have fun too. Softball meant so much to me growing up and now I get to watch my nieces love it too.
The first group I've seen come in and not need Link to say "Move up, get in here, get closer" as a group enters frame and sits. Years of GMM watching has led to this moment.
This episode is by far one of my favorites. All of the items were awesome, but that baseball card was freaking awesome! The story alone is so fantastic. This made my day.
i love getting little glimpses of the closeness between crew members. multiple pairs of best friends as demonstrated a couple of eps ago and just clear comfort, familiarity, and sweetness in this lovely More. seems like such a warm and fun workplace.
I loved that I recognized the binoculars right away. I used to have a pair like that. I think someone gave them to me saying it was good for the opera, but by the time I actually went to the opera I couldn't find them any more. But for YEARS growing up they lived in my "special treasures" drawer. Definitely!
I've been watching since you guys made your first song, its great to know miracles like being friends since 1st grade and now +30 and still best friends are true.
Listen. I’m not joking when I say that one of my most prized possessions is my purple gorilla mythical sweater. We recently had to evacuate due to wildfire and in those first few moments of frantic packing I grabbed my childhood stuffed animal and then put my purple sweater in my suitcase.
I used to have one of those folding eye glasses. They are cool!!!! Now I feel like I need to find them again! Thanks for the fond memories ❣️(edit) one thing I can say is I have a lot of things from my great grandmother. Born in 1899, in Dec. If she was with us now she would be 123 now. Love all the fun in the past memories. ❤
@@TheMrLoxton She said she had a lot of those cards, so much so that she didn't have it in a card sleeve. I'm sure its fine. She probably wouldn't allow it to happen if she didn't want it to.
@@TheMrLoxtonthe card isn't rare. The point of having it on the show is so she could tell the story behind it. Those cards aren't old and were mass printed back in the 90s. You can get boxes of them for a few dollars.
I also had a signed Jim Carrey headshot when I was in either 3rd or 4th grade. I wrote to him a few times via a fan club magazine and received a photo (wasn't the same photo as in the episode) I wish I still had it!!!! :(
I can't believe the Norma Whitney connection, I actually teared up. I loved that movie so much growing up! What a badass grandma to have. Happy Birthday Norma
To this day, still one of my favorite movies. Just watched it a few weeks ago in fact.
Same. Such an incredible story behind that.
Okay, so did I... and I came down to the comments to see if anyone else had the same reaction. Did NOT see that coming.
Damn! Love it! I want the Colleen’s t-shirt!

Yo that’s facts they did do it perfect
These crew members are brave to allow their prized possessions to be anywhere near Link. I love him but I'd never.
Especially after the miniature wooden chair and mallet incident 😂
@@thebackofthebandbus8969 Link to the video?
@@thebackofthebandbus8969that was diabolical! 😂
very brave
That’s his bit… he’s more than capable of not breaking peoples valuables
This episode is by far one of my favorites. All of the items were awesome, but that baseball card was freaking awesome! The story alone is so fantastic. This made my day.
I have that exact Jim Carrey signed photo from when I wrote to him in 95. DEFINITELY a copy 😂 But I was excited back then to get it! 😊
Same!
Me too!
Ssshhhh
Same!
Good! Better than the thought of him sending that particular saying to a young girl personally.
Link slightly aggressively grabbing these items is making me SO nervous. These crew members have so much trust!!
To be fair, he did say he shouldn't hold the binoculars at the end and they told him to. He should get points for self awareness lol
He's like a toddler
He is so so so heavy handed. No control. Just hasty. 😒
really didn’t get the vibe he was aggressive at all
@valap_too soon....
For real though, that one upset me lol
Genuinely-- I want more of these with more crew members' prized possessions. I love learning about all of them!!
They could gameify it for a main! Like a summer waterballoon lawn darts situation
I feel like not enough people are talking about how hysterical Emily's Jim Carrey obsession was
yeah I know it's crazy amazing
The baseball card is cool. I live in Rockford, IL and we are very proud of the Rockford Peaches around here.
It's a good Mythical story
i love getting little glimpses of the closeness between crew members. multiple pairs of best friends as demonstrated a couple of eps ago and just clear comfort, familiarity, and sweetness in this lovely More. seems like such a warm and fun workplace.
I love Emily’s subtle morph into the Wendy’s logo.
Shes a natural ginger.
This comment has no right to be as funny as it is
a cease & desist please that was so funny 💀
Norma ❤ what an absolute legend!!!
Oh Hitch. I am just in awe of your grandmother. ❤So so awesome.

I love that Mando helmet, nice job my dude 👏
That baseball story is really awesome.
Can this be a series? So awesome!!!!!!!!
I've been watching since you guys made your first song, its great to know miracles like being friends since 1st grade and now +30 and still best friends are true.
Baseball Grandma needs to be on the show!? WHAT A TREASURE!? 🙏😳🤷🏼♂️👆🏻
This is my favorite Good Mythical More ever. More of this, please.
Y'all should do another more like this one! I really enjoyed this one, it's really cool to learn why these items are so important.
As soon as I saw the Jim Carry portrait I knew it was Emily’s.
*WARNING* Don't let Link anywhere near your prized possessions.
the Mandalorian helmet is so awesome!
We need to quickly find a way to get Link to do his horse impression on the main show so it can make it into the year end highlights
Link had a funny way of tearing down EVERY persons item😭
They're Opera Glasses, Jenna!! They are so effective at the theatre:) I have my grandfather's pair. You get first place!

Me too. I knew what that was right away.
Same - I'm sure they are pretty common (relatively) as they do seem well built.
We have a couple sets when I was a kid. Think we got them in San Diego while on vacation early 80's.
I love how Link knew he shouldn’t handle them and then immediately put his finger prints on the lens when taking them 🤣
I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday
I love these crew show and tell episodes!!!❤
All of the items were super cool but that mandalorian helmet was genius
The helmet is pretty impressive.
You guys trusted Link with prized possessions? Good thing nobody gave him a mallet 😂
Im still traumatized 😂 but really 😢
@@Evelyn-vh1ex I still think about those tiny chairs 😭
The Mando helmet reminds me of the Cylon Centurion head I made in art class in the 80's.🤠
That helmet was way cool! great work
8:50 ... I knew it! No one else up there! Backstory is awesome too! My Mom loved him too!
Norma Whitney!? That's awesome!
I wouldn't let Link touch any important items
one of my all-time favorite GMM episodes, and of Link being Link!
That had to have been the COOLEST trapper keeper EVER!!
11:40 I knew what these are just sitting on the table, I used to have a pair I got from my great great grandfather
The girls fangirling over Norma Whitney was such a beautiful moment! It’s important to have women heroes, representation matters ❤
Watching link hold that card by the corner had to be painful...
Main reason I came to the comments. All his finger oils on it. That card was mint. WAS

Happy 95th Grandma Norma! ❤🎉
WE NEED A PART 2!!!
I actually started crying at Hitch's grandma's baseball card, that was such a cool story 🥲
Mythical crew show&tell
I also had a signed Jim Carrey headshot when I was in either 3rd or 4th grade. I wrote to him a few times via a fan club magazine and received a photo (wasn't the same photo as in the episode) I wish I still had it!!!! :(
I’m having flashbacks to Link destroying that adorable little chair to pieces 🥺
That was a cool video, good stories . I liked ot , it reminded me of the old shows ( like from the 1rst seasons)
I have 4 pairs of those old compact binoculars one is covered in a red leather and one looks exactly like the ones you’re showing.
Letting Link handle anything of any measure of value is a very real risk and often a huge mistake.
As a Pittsburgh resident it hurt a little to here Link trip over McKeesport lol
right there with you 🤣
The way link holds the card by the CORNER
I have a pair of those binoculars too! Mine are silver and green...cool and useful!
Make this a GMM Series!!
The Jim Carrey bit reminded me of the girl on TikTok who looks like him and everyone thinks is his daughter lol
My ex gf's grandma was in the Rockford Peaches. That is where I live. How cool is that?
The "Hot" Dog-house was absolutely hilarious!!! In G.M.Morning was ABSOLUTELY incredible. Fun laughs!!!
The baseball ⚾ reminisce WAS super HILARIOUS!!!
I just found one of those binoculars in my deceased grandmother's possessions!
baseball card and the story was the best part
I have the same binoculars!!!! My great grandparents liked bullfighting and used them there
The Gramma story made me misty!
the way link was handling that jim carrey portrait AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Hitch’s grandma is badasssssss
Just the *idea* of Link touching my most prized possession makes me nervous. The crew are brave. XD
11:48 I have those exact same opera glasses from a thrift store for $2
Actually those were used more as opera glasses than binoculars. Had a pair as a kid.
I would never let link touch any of my items xD
Anyone else kinda hold their breath when Link took the binoculars?
I feel like the Mando Helmet is the only one that’s replaceable. It would be a pain in the arse, but he COULD make another one.
My brother has the same Jim Carry autograph
Doesn't it normally go that they gotta guess what belongs to which crew member. At least been better that way.. Ah well....
Hitch, what an amazing story! Thanks for sharing with us!
I misread the title. Thought it was the crews favorite POSITIONS
Jim Carrey is very much the man he once was… arguably leaps and bounds better. ❤
So amazing and crafty
I have those same binoculars from my grandmother!
Hey I know you Taylor, from BLT - Hi!!! (From Maria)
Link u cant control chaos-as much as u try-is why u feel wrath
Awesome helmet great job
I have the same pair of compact binoculars. Found them at a Goodwill. XD
Saw a Jim Carrey signed photo. I HAD to click~!!!
wow taylor that is impressive
Was that what Jr Pet Detective is about? I've never actually seen it.
I miss Mythical museum.
I have one of those binoculars only in a red case. They are rugged
My mom had binoculars like those when we were kids. I wonder where they ended up? So neat!
I have a pair of those binoculars they're pretty neat
Instead of having a celebrity crush, I would say that Jim Carrey was my celebrity dad. Hopefully my real dad didn't mind.
I have those same collapsible binoculars from my grandma😄
i have that same pair of binoculars from my great grandma
I have a pair of those same theater optics.
The binoculars are made for whatever event the person is trying to view.
I have the jim Carrey autograph picture too. But says something else.
Link mishandling that card made me nervous.
I had a red pair of those binoculars. Lost them, of course.
