So how would you do a Separatist Alliance video? It’s easy to condemn the Republic for willingly becoming the Empire, especially given a lot of the evil people in the Empire rose in power in the Republic. However the choice wasn’t really made for evil reasons. Palpatine needed the Separatists to be a threat to bring up the Empire and villanize groups like the Rebel Alliance. Even Dooku started out as someone who hated this dark side of the Republic. However by the time Dooku started the CIS and kicked off the Clone Wars, he was no longer a noble champion even to his own planet. His charisma hid his new self, a Sith who ensured the Separatist Military was a force of evil to push the Republic to become the Empire. Politicians who tried to stop him were killed while the populace kept cheering him, none the wiser. There’s two sides to the Separatists, the noble side which was just used by the corrupt side. Just imagine if the Separatists knew what their military was doing during the Clone Wars.
@@tristankawatsuma8962I'd have the first part be about the birth of the movement and the good ideas behind it. Padme’s words are making me tear up
Can't believe some random video on UA-cam reignited my passion for the Star Wars Universe again better than a multibillion-dollar company with million-dollar projects like movies and series.
Phenomenal once again! It's hard not to say this every time, but your work on this is groundbreaking! Your ability to portray every good story so well continues as an inspiration for myself and others with every vid. So good, my friend!
As always an absolute banger of an edit!
This is great excited for a cnclusion where all factions combined the Republic to Empire to Rebellion to New Reublic. All compiled to share a theme and the main message of these stories
Can’t wait for the CIS to get its own faction AMV too! (Along with a proper successor faction in the New Republic era and/or Rise of Skywalker era)
I mean, I do appreciate that the AMV we’re currently seeing covers the CIS in comprehensive detail, but I’m hoping we can see a “purely from the CIS’ perspective” focused AMV.
@@topnotchshinobi I could do that at some point, but this video includes most of the themes I'd want to explore in such a video-so much so that it actually began as a CIS video and kind of shifted into a broader view of the Republic as I worked on it.
@@SWFT_edits Fair point. In any case, however, I appreciate the hard work you've already put into this AMV, and look forward to continue "watching your career with great interest." :)
Another fantastic edit man. Love your content, cheers!
Dang this is good. Maybe one day I can do something half as epic.
Holy shit this is so underrated.
Woahhhh
This was incredible
Such gorgeous work !
You don’t even have to love Star Wars to get chills from this
Brilliantly done!!!
The Death Star is the greatest power in the universe, but Palpatine is the sexiest. He is THE Prince, Machiavelli's wettest dream, the personification of elegance and the god of intrigue.
i love your work
I love the work of this channel, please continue
Great job! Seems extra relevant with the war these days
Damn, these are three perfect trailers. If I find someone that has not seen Star Wars yet, I will show them this video to get them excited.
