Thank you for making this video. Really helpful. I'm waiting on my hysterectomy operation. Just a waiting game now. Did you wait long? From being told you needed a hysterectomy to going in for the operation?
I only waited about 4 months but I was lucky to get a cancellation slot, also it depends on whether, like me you are having open surgery, in which case you may need a bowel surgeon present

I am completely gobsmacked that you didn’t have a general anaesthetic. In Australia where I live that is how colonoscopy’s are done. You are so brave xx
Oh wow, I had no idea! In the UK you only get a general anaesthetic in very extreme circumstances!
@@booksandbargains I had a colonoscopy today in UK and was offered entonox or sedation if I wanted it.
