India's star wrestlers Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik and Vinesh Phogat have started a protest at Jantar Mantar and demanded that Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh be removed as the acting president of WFI (Wrestling Federation of India).
Some wrestlers and the Wrestling Federation of India have been embroiled in controversy since the beginning of this year.
The wrestlers have asked that a committee investigate the allegations of sexual exploitation against the president of the wrestling federation and make the report public, and that an FIR be filed against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.
