The Numeral "5" Takes Its Place Atop One Times Square

The Numeral "5" is brought to One Times Square by truck, taken up in the elevator to the 22nd floor and then hoisted to the roof level to take it's place as part of 2-0-2-5, ready to be illuminated after the Ball descends on New Year's Eve. The four numerals use a total of 620 energy efficient LED bulbs; the numeral “2” contains 145 bulbs, the “0” contains 164 bulbs, and the “5” contains 166 bulbs.
2025 will be the year that you can visit the Ball for the first time and see these numerals up close. Each one can weigh about 450 pounds and is 7 foot tall. One Times Square is a must visit destination for your trip to New York City next year!
