  • Jason picked up a used RS1 that has been outfitted with Turbo S suspension making it 72" wide. Making it a good platform to build in to an Ultra 4 race unit. Big plans, stay tune. Race Car!

Cool looking ride. Be curious to hear what cause of axle issue was once confirmed.

Got to get some adjustable radius rods to get those trailing arms pulled back in so the axles don’t pull out.

I did a turbo s conversion on my rs1. I know exactly what happened. Your rear shocks are 2.25" too long. And at full bump in the rear the shock body is too long busy almost 2". Front shocks are close but also need compressed and extended changes

The front has the HCR upper shock mount that corrects the geometry. The rear upper mounts were raised almost 2 inches. At full droop the rear axles sut at the same angle as a factory turbo s. A small camber adjustment took care of it.
When the new shocks get built I am going to have them limit the down travel by 1/2 inch as well.
