I'm glad you enjoyed the challenge, even if it is a bit dense 😅, there was a hint system that got cut out because I wanted to release this on halloween, it may get readded in a future update. And yes, there have been a few people that have beated the challenge, and yes, it's tough (sorry)
I'm not sure how much time it took you, but of the people in youtube you are the first one to complete an effigy in the first video they release about the challenge, so be proud!

Ok, let me see if i get it:
1.- The planetarium symbols work with Isaac logic, i.e. they represented what the items do.
2.- You need a body and a "trinket" to activate the glyphs.
3.- Some trinkets have other uses.
So, with that logic then:
- Jupiter = Fish for the bad odor
- Luna = Pandora's box for the secrets
- Mars = Fear shot for being scary?
- Mercurius = Pause for the velocity?
- Saturnus =??
- Sol =??
- Terra = ??
- Uranus = ice cube
- Venus = ??
There is also a chance that the plunger is Jupiter, and the fish has something to do with the sink or stove.
with the exception of Uranus, you guesses none

Okay so I have beat this game and what you were doing wrong is that you needed to take one of the bodies to the shop, make it interact with the stove, and then, as the final step, I don't I never played it what a mattman comment

8:45 I'm fairly certain those "glitched rocks" are intended to be bismuth, it's a really unique and pretty gemstone that forms into cubes. Although, given the glitchy thing hunting you down, it may very well be intended to represent glitches, especially since I'm not sure what significance having bismuth randomly there would hold. But yes, it does hold a resemblance to a pretty cool real life gemstone.
I think the its based on the mercury boss which is added by the mod. It's made of bismuth. The mercury symbol is also located in one of the rooms with bismuth rocks
