About I Dream of Jeannie: Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman star in this classic ‘60s comedy about a genie and her master. When astronaut Tony Nelson is forced to crash-land on a remote Pacific island, he finds a strange bottle that's washed ashore. When he opens it, out pops a genie named Jeannie. Not only does she get him back to civilization safely, she also smuggles herself aboard the rescue plane. Jeannie becomes Tony's constant companion. But though she happily grants his every wish, she causes more than her fair share of trouble.

Tony's clumsiness in this episode is pure comedy gold.
Nothing beats Major Healy’s facial expression and responses.
Bill Daily once said that he had based the mannerisms and voice on Bob Hope's comedy movie performances of the 40s & 50s. It's totally there.
@eduardo_corrochio Thanks for that interesting info. Bob Hope was comedy genius.
I could watch this a million times and still crack up
Yep - on my second view in 2 days!
Hahaha, was gonna say the same thing. Hilarious.
Me too!😂😂😂
Yep! This is my favorite “Jeannie” moment! It’s the one I remember most because it’s so hilarious.
I died laughing when he sang soprano!
🤣
Another amazing performance by Larry Hagman!
The piano player was Frank DeVol who was responsible for the Brady Bunch and My Three Sons themes amongst many musical achievements.
Oh thanks!
Yes he also made a cameo in the Brady Bunch family night frolics episode in the act before Carol & Marcia.
We laughed so much till tears rolled down our cheeks. Poor major under the spells cast on him by his genie. Every episode is just fun to watch.
🤣
The good ole days
Tony Nelson - astronaut , opera singer , master & best friend of Major Healey.
Tony Nelson Does it ALL. !!! 😂😂😂
Barton McLanes look when he’s singing the third voice is priceless.
😂
One of my fav scenes in the whole series! 😄
One of your favorites, but my favorite!!
Like wise
Same here!
There is something about all sitcoms from the 60s. IE : the face expression of the actors...are so damn funny 😂
The ending was so funny!
Lol I let out a screech when he began singing, 😂😂😂.
Only Larry Hagman could pull that off
So hilarious RIP Larry you are truly missed
This scene was priceless and the facial reactions had me ROTF LMBO!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂

Me either.
And so do I.
Shame on those who gave a thumbs down. This is classic TV.
Question... Which do you find funnier?
Tony sings soprano OR Barney and the choir?
I don’t know about Barney and the choir, but Major Healey singing soprano can’t be beat!
Beats any modern comedy hands down.
Dr,Bellow shows with his fingers ...hahahah...from bass to soprano....
Absolutely marvelous ❤
So funny awesome show. Have find on dvd
Quality television. Back then, sitcoms were truly funny, because the writers and the actors actually worked for the laughs and made it work - they didn't have to resort to the lowest of low-brow humor to get quick and easy laughs; they had to be genuinely clever with their material since there was Practices & Standards that are pretty much non-existent today. Not only that, but as beautiful as Jeannie was, and her traditional harem outfit may have been a might risque for its time (network censors wouldn't even allow her belly button to be seen on-screen), she wasn't often degraded like a sex object for the sake of appealing to male viewers like many shows do these days, where a character like her is basically the object of desire for practically every single male character around her who would act like sex-crazed horn dogs wanting to bang her at the first opportunity.
Shows like I DREAM OF JEANNIE are sorely missing from the television landscape of today . . . but rather than trying to revive these shows and destroy everything that made them unique and special, we really need new original shows that can emulate the aesthetic and spirit of classic shows.
Agree 👍
The lounge singer is my favorite! I’ve been looking for this clip!
😂 Just goes to show, you have a Jeanie ask her to cut out the master stuff and go with the flow of thing's🤗😍
This cracked me up when I was 6 and it still cracks me up.
🤣
La Donna E Mobile!! First time I ever heard this was on Star Trek: Voyager. So glad to see it done here too.
Ah the Doctor - I remember it well.
I'm in love with this song too. The first time I heard it on my TV was from the episode "The Befana" from Miraculous Ladybug.
🎶 Tuvok I understand, you are a Vulcan man!
You have just gone about, for seven years...about!
Paris, please find the way, to load a hypospray!
I will give you the sign, just aim for his behind!
Hormones are raging, pysinapes blazing!
It's all so very illogical!
Illogical!
Illogical! 🎶
It was really funny when he started to sing.
Poor Tony!
Poor Roge and poor Jeannie too!
4:48 lol
I don’t know how these people kept it together.😂
That funny blinking makes crack up.
general Peterson is my fav
Love it!! Is that composer Frank Devol? Composed music for My Three Sons....The Brady Bunch? Great TV!
Oh, that's so funny! 😁
🤣
Now!!!!!! 🤣 haha haha haha haha haha lmao 🤣
"Tony" "Soprano". Whoever handles these uploads knows exactly what they're doing with these titles.
So you're saying it's a Tony Soprano?
u win the internet today!!
Only if this is "I Dream of Jeannie Cusamano."
A Tony Soprano at Sing-Sing.
Larry Hagman started out in musical theatre.
"In the blue ridge mountains of Virginia, on the trail of the lonesome pine, in the pale moonshine, our hearts entwined, then she carved her name and I carved mine". No prizes for the movie where that comes from.
Wait Out West? I remember what happened both before AND after Oliver Hardy hit Stan Laurel on the head with a hammer. (The Laurel and Hardy films were VERY famous in Calcutta, India--where I live--until globalisation and cable television invaded our homes. My family and I LOVED Way Out West!)
Spencer's Mountain?
So hilarious. "Boop boop be doop". But I did not care for the writers' endless teasing the audience about what date her birthday was, episode after episode in this particular season. We didn't give a fig about that, we just wanted more funny and zany scenarios.
It was actually part of a mail in contest to NBC. You had to guess the date and when they announced it if they picked your name with the correct date you won. They did the same thing when Jeannie was stuck in the safe, you had to guess the combination.
Love this episode ❤❤❤
This is my favorite episode of I Dream of Jeannie.
i cracked up in this scene ! hahahahha
Very Nice , Love this episode 😂
So funny 🤣🤣🤣
Kindly upload complete epesods
Oh good old days. Where can I find the full episodes.

They took Bewitched, fixed all the problems and made this masterpiece.
🥰😂😘🤩
😂 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💀
that's funny
I hate Tony being humiliated🥶🥶🥶
And also that goes for Darrin. 🥶🥶🥶🥶
Who sang the 3rd version of rigoletto at 4:32? Thank you.
How to get full episodes please suggest me
What if...Darrin (from Bewitched) was singing Soprano?
His faithful wife Samantha will help him with a twitch of her nose.
Darwood has no charm !
Tony was handsome !
Geo K asked which one is funnier Barney and the Choir, or Tony sings Soprano. I think I Dream of Jeannie borrowed this bit from the Andy Griffith show. I consider that ironic because in my opinion they are the two funniest shows of all time. In this instance I think Tony sings Soprano is even funnier. That's a compliment of the highest, because Don Knotts is the greatest comic in television history. Knotts was to comedy what Rembrandt was to painting and Einstein was to science. A close second is Larry Hagman's handsome , hapless Major Nelson. Nobody outdid these two in madcap mania.
What is the name of the song he's singing?
"Areas" from any opera?
Jennie you were TERRIBLE!!! LOL!!
Frankly and sincerely, I think and believe only you have good taste for Samantha the witch!!!!
I want to see hindi
Tony sings like a lady when I see him singing like soprano.
Tony can't sing soprano. That is too silly.
Shame on those who gave a thumbs down. This is classic TV.
Question... Which do you find funnier?
Tony sings soprano OR Barney and the choir?
