I’m ready to I have been working for you UPS since 2019 august my wages at that time 14$ I have been there for 3 years and almost 4 years now and my wages the same amount with the new person ridiculous luckily god bring me join the Union ! And right now I know where I stand !
UPS is not going anywhere but they will lose volume for sure and that’s going to be layoffs from the bottom on seniority. But the people with seniority don’t care about it because they are safe and it’s not a real union everyone wants what’s best for themselves
she is one of the best CEO's on the street and just like you guys, deserves every penny she earns. Our perspectives are very narrow and we have no idea what she does. No, she cannot do 230 stops per day, but there are things she does which none of us have any idea. Lol, I work at UPS. We have multiple big shippers who send us their FedEx "overflow" every single day because FedEx doesnt have the capacity to handle it. They have contracte but fedex cant keep up. We never turn any flow down, we'll just keep working until its done. So Fedex cant handle their own flow, but somehow they're going to take ours in addition to their own. Same with Amazon. They max out their flow every single day and then send us all the stuff they can't get out. We deliver almost all their 70-150 lbs. packages. I have friends that work at the postal service, its a complete mess. Anyone thats had anything delivered via USPS the past 10 years knows how garbage their service is.
There's only one company that delivers heavy packages besides UPS that's FedEx we deliver up to 160 lb small companies won't be able to deliver heavy Freight the way we do
The only thing standing in the way of UPS is their own greed. 13.9 Billion in *profits* last year alone. Over 100 billion in revenue, again, just for 2022. All they have to do is give us workers a comparitivly miniscule slice of that pie. But they would rather fight tooth and nail for every penny, and tell the world we are "greedy" for asking to be treated fairly by one of the largest companies on the planet.

I have worked for USPS,FedEx and currently UPS and I have insight on working with all three. By far FedEx do slot for thier employees like showing how they appreciate thier employees for example,almost every Friday they gave breakfast sandwiches and they would have food trucks in which you would get a ticket to get what you wanted. USPS never did shit for thier employees but give them bullshit and they often created problems with the employees all the time. So they would be mad at each other other than management. Prime example give an sorry employee an award and everybody know they were not
Not all fedex are the same. Fedex stop people from taking heat breaks, monitor employees taking bathroom breaks, fire employees for calling out , some days things go bas
20.00 dollar is not enough. When they take out insurance premium, taxes, retirement. You bring home 1800 a month. Now subtract rent, food, clothes and cleaning supplies and don't forget maintenance for the car. No extra money for entertainment.
I don't want to strike either, but I also don't want to get taken advantage of. Part timers deserve a better guaranteed start pay, and long time part timers deserve catch up raises.

But I’m just saying UPS was already using people with their personal vehicles to make deliveries. They were already doing that when I was there during peak season. Then testing drones to make deliveries etc. i think the drivers will be replaced also for cheaper labor

But if you think working in a truck with no air conditioning in 100 + degrees for 10 hours is easy maybe you should step up. Not to mention the package compart is 120 degrees all day and you are delivering 300 plus packages that can weigh up to 150 pounds. Hahahhahah

I was there for the strike in 97. Two weeks pay I lost and we got nothing! Be very careful drivers because union leadership will sell you out.
Just had a meeting with our union guys and the union is paying all of us plus our health insurance during the strike
