They make, quote unquote, and they make, quote unquote, Lil Wayne. That's who I happen to be, and I'm sorry I'm sorry if people can't understand. But I understand why they don't understand, it's because they don't come from the bottom of the stage and look at 20 to 30-thousand people. They don't get that opportunity. And I'm blessed to have that opportunity, so with that said I can only be honest with such a thing. I have never witnessed racism."

STORYLINE:
LIL WAYNE EXPLAINS HIS 'NO SUCH THING AS RACISM' COMMENT
Lil Wayne understands why some people criticized him for saying racism is over, but claims people don't see it from his perspective.
The rapper got some backlash last month when he told Fox Sports 1's "Undisputed" that there was "no such thing as racism" because his concert audiences had a lot of white fans. He also said millennials knew that racism wasn't cool.
When asked on Tuesday to expand on his thoughts, Lil Wayne told The Associated Press that one of the reasons he feels that way is because a white police officer saved his life when he was 12 years old after he accidentally shot himself in the chest.
"Yeah, he was a cop, and my life was saved by a white man. I don't know what racism is. I know a good (expletive) named Uncle Bob, though." Carter said.
The Grammy-winning rapper said he was lying on the floor when police broke down the door, stepping over his body looking for guns and drugs. But one man stopped and chastised the others for leaving him.
"He was white as snow. Them (expletive) that hopped over me were blacker than me," Carter said.
Carter says the man known as "Uncle Bob" personally took him to the hospital and stayed with him.

I was raised by a black family who knows no skin color. The media are the devil trying to separate people
THANK YOU.
It’s not the media, it’s the people that control the media. They set whatever the agenda is they want to suit there needs
Hate to say it but its more then the media. Just saying
Indiana Public Land correct, the media tv controls how the people think
It it weren't for the media, racism would have died a long time ago. But then they'd got nothing to talk about on TV, and then don't make any money. So they keep the rhetorics on, that racism is still around. The media kept racism alive in America. Not Blacks. Not Whites. The media.
People should be judged on their character and that's all there is to it.
Yes I agree God bless you
@mr mc let me know when that day comes.
mr mc Unless you’re white
@Qanon Military Precision What systems do they have in place to oppress you?
What land and/or property do they disallow your admittance?
@Duker ...or you say dumb shit like your last comment.
In the wise words of Morgan Freeman to stop racism: "stop talking about it".
That's not wisdom, that's ignorance
@@bobpolo2964 thats not what he meant by that statement, what he meant was that we need to stop saying "black person"or "white person" just dont use colors when ur talking about a specific person thats what he meant
@@bobpolo2964 it really isn’t ignorance though, there is no such thing as ending racism. Ending racism would be like, trying to end greed, it can’t happen because it is in human nature. Modern society is dictated by social media, whatever is trending is what people care about. For instance; BLM. A lot of black people jumped ship, because they realised that the group was doing more harm to the black community than good, and the rest forgot about it because it became less trendy. The best way to end racism, is to stop making every issue a race issue. Rather than being fixated on culture, and being a part of the pack, take up individualism. It has many benefits; get to know yourself better, makes you more independent, stops race blaming, more confident, see things from a neutral perspective.
TLDR: stop obsessing over race, allow your inner individual to flourish.
So the uptick in KKK recruitment, FBI memos to police departments across the U.S. telling them that they were recruiting White Supremacists, the lynchings and "Karens" running rampant in the USA is only because people talk about it?
We talk about stopping the hate-filled madness why aren't they doing that? Perhaps because they're only influenced by racist hate? Ignoring something doesn't make it go away. Dealing with it does. Ask any doctor!
@@baddersbradders7046 It started, it can be ended! Read a history book, a real one. Before there was racism, it was all about class. Racism was created before slavery as a justification for the ill-treatment and enslavement of Negroes. It grew from there. There is only one race, human. There are ethnicities and cultures. Not races. Caucasians invented race, and then the divisions based on racial lines. Before that, there were culture wars and class distinctions.

Jesse Lee peterson
EJ RO28 I’m not saying the KKK is being out in the open and everyone agrees with them. But to say there is no such thing is racism is false. And the black on black crime, think about what black people are killing each other. It ain’t the black men in nice neighborhoods that are well funded and up kept by the state. It’s the neighborhoods that are purposefully neglected. People are products of their environments, and growing up I didn’t have a choice what my environment was, none of us did. See, there are 2 types of ppl in this world: The 1st type of ppl let one bad experience turns into generalization, the other type let one positive experience become benefit of the doubt. Weezy clearly the 2nd type
Human psychology is abit more complicated. There’s probably a large amount of behaviours a human can exhibit from that situation. I’ll list a few because I’m bored:
1. One bad experience turns into a generalisation
2. One bad experience does not turn into a generalisation, but negatively adds onto the abstract perception of a whole race
3. One bad experience initiates a momentum of negative feelings that may/may not manifest in a form of generalisation
4. Takes the bad experience as it is. No assumptions. No opinion. No stereotypes. ‘That just happened’ kind of attitude.
5. A good experience turns into a generalisation
6. A good experience is not generalised, but is appreciated and noted into the abstract perception of a whole race
7. Takes the good experience as it is. No assumptions. No opinions. No stereotypes.

Wayne keeps it real here.
Yeah, he keeps it real fcking dumb. So much for the pearls of wisdom.
Because Lil' Wayne is who we should all look to for our guidance and wisdom in all matters, right?
Thank you! Very true still reigns true today
I was never a fan of rap, hip-hop or his kind of music in general. But man, I have so much respect for him. Now I just want to listen to his music just because I like him so much...
I myself haven't had a lot of experience in dealing with racism. But I'm sure not naive that it doesn't exist.
Jason E. Graham Sr. This video was custom-tailored for white people who think the status quo is Good, Actually. Watch them shame themselves in the replies
Thank you
Lil Wayne has a fanbase that is majority white. He knows what he's doing by going against BLM movements. He's preserving his wealth. But of course anyone currently angry by the protests, riots, Democrats, & being called out for racist behavior will see this video and run with it. I haven't experienced much racism either but I'm not going to ignore the KKK and white power rallies currently going on, the black people being lynched, whites coming to BLM protests and shooting arrows or running them over with cars, etc.
Thank you somebody said it
Jasmine McFadden yes 👏🏾👏🏾
This is why I respect this man so much! He doesn't talk non sense about how bad police are same with white ppl. He doesn't see race!
This is so heartwarming:)
When you’re not under communist mind control 🙌🏻
Malcolm Hoth simp
Malcolm Hoth since you agreed with her cause of her looks. That should not be a problem for you.
Malcolm Hoth 1.lets not fool ourselves you know why you did it. 2. Communism is a dead ideology if you did some research you would know that communism is illegal in most of the countries of the world and frankly no one wants it specially the countries who tried it. 3. Stop believing everything you hear on mainstream and social media’s it’s all bullshit. It’s all becoming political propaganda and stupid people who don’t know what the hell they are talking about.
Truth!!!!
@@illyrianbloodline4841 If you did some research you would know what the CCP is... As in Chinese Communist party.. Ever hear if it?.. How about Russia or north Korea? How about the literature for Antifa or BLM? All communist... Antifa holds the same principles just under a different name and now BLM are adopting those same evil principles. You... Are incredibly misinformed.
Love how Honest this statement is. No asskissing to anyone...👍
Love this guy..I'm not into rap...but this guy is beyond cool..
