  • We are doing a Bring Me The Horizon Retrospective. A few songs from each album. The album is called Count Your Blessings and it was released in 2006. This album is very different from their later albums, as it has a more deathcore and metalcore sound, with heavy riffs, breakdowns, and screams. I’m very curious to see how this album sounds, as I’ve only heard their newer stuff, which is more melodic and experimental. So let’s get into it and see what this album has to offer.
The first track is called Pray For Plagues and it starts with a very ominous intro, with some eerie sounds and a distorted voice saying “Pray for plagues”. Then it explodes into a brutal riff, with some insane drumming and vocals. The lyrics are very dark and violent, talking about the end of the world and the wrath of God. The chorus is catchy and catchy, with the singer shouting “This is the end of everything”. The song has a lot of energy and aggression, and it sets the tone for the rest of the album. It is bad.
The next track is called Tell Slater Not To Wash His D**k and it has a very funny title, apparently referring to a friend of the band who had a bad hygiene problem. The song is fast and furious, with some thrashy riffs and blast beats. The vocals are very high-pitched and screechy, almost like a pig squeal. The lyrics are very vulgar and humorous, talking about sex and drugs. The chorus is simple and catchy, with the singer repeating the title of the song. The song is very short, only lasting for two minutes, but it’s very fun and entertaining. I like this song, it’s very amusing and catchy. AI wrote this. I don't care what it says.
