Holy crap. This thing sounds like a jumbo jet when it pulls off. I shall definitely be paying Melton a visit when the permanent ones enter service. Not only is this the best looking bus since the Lowlanders, but it’s probably the first buses since them to pull off so quick as well.
@@Leicesterbusvideos32646 I did notice a creak from the back where the rear panel meets the ceiling on an older E400, but they have at least seemed to fix the main source of body noise on the previous versions of the E400 MMC bodywork, the bracket connecting the window glazing to the ceiling panels.

It's very impressive, I really hope we do get these after experiencing this performance. I'm not sure the Electroliners could actually top this.
I definitely need to come to Leicester for these at some point.
This is the only one we have at the moment, if we do get a batch of these I'll definitely recommend them.
Some pretty nasty squeaks already, looks like the new E400 EV isn't that solid after all...give me a Gemini any day!
Some of the StreetDeck Electroliners do exactly the same, it's usually to do with the back board or emergency door.
