Will the heat shrink not trap moisture? Just thinking if you’re out and the air is damp it might by capillary action draw any moisture between the heat shrink and barrel. I don’t know….
Great follow up video on your TX200! Interesting that you fitted a rubber sheath over the barrel to protect against rusting. I’m looking into a TX200 HC soon. What are the best ways to ensure it will always be protected against rust and any other maintenance considerations?
The shrink wrap works really well to protect the barrel and silencer. It's straightforward to apply and remove. Maintenance it just the occasional drop of oil and barrel clean. Thanks for watching. 👍
Diana model 27L dating from 1910 ~ 1936 , blued finish with either smooth / rifled barrel 18.5 inches beech stock with metal buttplate , overall length of 42.5 inches no safety but comes with adjustable trigger and sold in the tens of thousands , there's a pre ~ 1923 version with octagonal barrel and is worth around 20% more .. other variants are the 27A , 27E , 27S and 27 which appear similar , but share no or very little common parts and are completely unrelated .. .
Do not reblue as they were never blued and patina it has is best left it's goes with the age. And a very nice AA under lever but the price your into a very good pcp
The owner wanted it reblued and refinished. I don't think he realised how old it is. When it's all cleaned up, I think it will be pretty good. I agree that the TX200 is costly, but I'm a big springer fan. I use PCPs for pest control, but for pure enjoyment, it's always a springer.

Thanks brother. That wasn't as good as I hoped for. I'm pretty sure I can shoot that group with a much cheaper rifle. It wouldn't look as cool though 😅
Does anyone know what the new SMK break barrel rifles are like, namely the XS22, XS23 and XS24?. Are they better than SMK208, XS20, Remington Express/Sabre I wonder?. Very little info is about regarding them currently. Retail for about £220-£250. I wonder which rifle they are inspired by?. I wonder what trigger they have?.
Hi Pal Great videos I’m a fan 😎 just heard you say you do repairs ? If so I have a basket case xs38 magnum which needs surgery could you help? Regards Andy
This air rifle is truly amazing, I'm impressed with its accuracy and power
Great rifle and it's hard to miss with it.
Thanks for watching. 👍
This rifle is a game-changer, it's perfect for hunting and target shooting
Hi mate another great video and the TX200 takes some beating especially for a springer great air rifles stay safe ATVB.
It'll be interesting to see how it stacks up against some others. Thanks for watching 👍
Super great shooting 🙂👍.
The Diana looks pretty cool 🙂👍.
The Diana shoots great, too. The iron sights are brilliant. I think it's more rust than metal though. 🤔
Love the Diana too that rifle has some character.
This is my goat for underlever Tx200 in a .22,shame I can't afford it ,simply beautiful,
It's a lovely rifle, I had to wait a long time to get one. Definately worth the wait 👍
The prices are absolutely insane these days. Glad I bought one years ago.
Good video Steve, I’d be interested in seeing what you can do with the old Diana mate 👍🇬🇧
Cheers, Steve, I'll do an update video.
Good stuff, looking forward to the next update
Thanks for watching. I thinkbi feel an update coming. 😂
Wasn’t aware the TX200 fired 🔥
Hi Steve! good stuff!
Thanks Nibs 👍
Hi looks great where did you get the wrap from I'm thinking of doing it to the barrel of my prosport
It's on ebay and amazon. Heat shrink rubber sleeve. Just order it a little bigger than your barrel diameter.

I don't think it will. I give everything a liberal smear of ballistol before wrapping, just in case. 👍
@@RealAirgunAdventuresgood idea 👍
Another perfect review and shooting my friend 💀👍
Thanks, much appreciated. 👍
@@RealAirgunAdventures You're welcome 💀👍
I miss your videos and reviews. I hope you’re ok.
I'm just getting back into things again. I took a break from the tube. It quickly eats into your life, if your not careful. Thanks for the message 👍
@@RealAirgunAdventuresthat’s understandable. I’m looking forward to the follow up video on the Baikal Drozd when you get time please?
I was looking at that this morning. Might well be sooner, rather than later. 👍

Doesn't look too bad. Do you have any footage showing how to attach the rubber shrink-wrap?
ua-cam.com/video/h0aQGjwgmcQ/v-deo.html it's all in there 👍
*I like the wrapping job!*
_A bit of ballistol will fix this Diana 💯😂_
Thanks Mr Lowkey. I do like Ballistol 👍

I'll make some enquiries. If I can get hold of one, I'll make a video. I can't see them being better than the XS20 custom.
@@RealAirgunAdventures I look forward to any future videos regarding them. Always good to see more budget springer options.
