Also yeah infinite bouncing Tech X already got patched, but it’s still a great synergy even at one bounce!

@@lakers4464 I mean, it was a glitch so technically it never was supposed to exist, but I guess in a sense it was needed.
@@lakers4464 fixed not nerfed. 3 of my runs died because hosts in the room refused to get attackable and thedoors didnt open

It was removed because it led to softlocks, e.g. you fill a room full of shots only to realise that there was a host hiding in the corner who will now never attack because it's constantly being hit. If you've got no bombs or teleports, then you're forced to restart.

Yeah, it was removed because it could softlock the game
Heres a 3 item one in this specific order
1. Rock bottom
2. Soy milk
3. Kidney stone
I think its good anyways
Not even using Almond Milk smh...
Fun fact: the range/shot speed from the worm trinkets also dont go away when using Rock Bottom

I shall remember you fondly, Tech X/Rubber Cement. You carried me through my very first Final Chapter clear.
My favorite synergy is Trisagion + Ipecac. It kills the run instantly unless you have explosion immunity, but it’s so fun.
Have you tried moving backwards while using it?
@@legendarytat8278 I’ve never been able to avoid damage with it unless I have an item that granted bomb immunity or a Mask of Infamy type effect triggered. If you have, you should update the wiki.

The soy milk thing works with all items that previously required a charge, this means monstro's lung and cursed eye are just that much better now
my favorite synergy is 4.5 volt plus any item that deals continuous damage: sprinkler, box of friends, pinking shears, you name it. since the speed at which one spawns friends is now directly proportional to the number of friends in place, i'm pretty sure this is one of the few *exponential* damage things
I had a very fun run with Monstro's Lung, Technology, and Soy Milk. Monstro's Lung + Technology gives a shotgun blast of randomly-arcing, limited range technology shots. Soy milk makes this autofire like crazy, and when you max out your tear cap it is insanely powerful. Add Playdough Cookie for a rainbow burst to rave to.
Do rock bottom kidney stone it’s absolutely insane
Well that's not really a synergy I would say since it's just rock bottom + high tears up. It's not like brimstone my reflection which is made to specifically do that sort of turnaround beam. Although yeah it is very op
it is kinda a synergy, because it lets you keep the kidney stone tear rate longer than you're supposed to. it's rock bottom at its best

Azazel + parasite + my reflection creates an INTERESTING shape, very memorable.

The Aquarius tear effects I knew, but I never even realized it would synergise with homing. That's nice. My favourite is probably Tiny Planet + Mom's Knife though. Amazing whirlwind of death.

My favorite combo is Ghost Bombs + Scatter Bombs and either alot of bombs or Dr. Fetus to create homing ghosts missiles that burst your eardrums when you spam it.
Also Aquarius Synergizes with Holy Light, Little Horn, Fire mind, Poison Tears and prob other tear effects making it insane especially with perfection

Brimstone + Brimstone is a good one
a favorite of mine that ive seen is technology + monstro's lung too
Tech 2 with Cricket’s Body also synergizes really well now too. It is a boss destroyer and makes The Beast fight an absolute cake walk.

As far as new items with synergies. Eye of the ocult is probably my favourite, and in the same note probably one of my new favourite items in general.
honestly I love how much love sulfuric acid got in repentance, it was probably my favorite non unlock from ab+ due to its simplistic yet powerful utility
one of my first runs on repentance was cursed eye + marked, it was pretty fun and amazingly good mixing two items that are actually not good
Got to love the new ipecac trisagion, will easily carry you to the end of the run.
Btw tech x no longer infinitely bounces

The Tech X infinitely bouncing w/Rubber Cement got patched out literally today. So if you wanted to do the funny bouncy lasers, it’s too late. :(

i like how brimstone now has an effect with sinus infection. i got it once in afterbirth and nothing happened, but i got it again as tainted isaac and it was op.

After watching that greed run on stream, lodestone + tech 2 + explosivo is my new favorite synergy

My favorite synergy was trisagion and crickets body. It gets crazy fast.
Deep pockets + money = power, not a visual one, but you can increase further your dmg
Spirit sword + technology: lightsaber
Mom's knife + parasite: it works
Tainted eve with tech X and a bunch of tears up 0_o, it's run winning.
Dark arts + mom transformation: because the knife always hits when you go trough enemies dealing great damage
Now a crazy one: mom's knife + brimstone + sacred heart + holy light + parasite. It gets crazy with your holy knives barrage.

I do remember during a greed run my friend for Aquarius and sacred heart and it just shredded anything that dared chase him
I got trisagion and lacraphagy the other day, really crazy. Got sacred heart after that. Really insane
Brimstone+Parasite is basically like Desintegrator+Science gun in ETG

Acquarius + spoon bender is crazy probably the least expected one
I just want to see Quad Shot, Psychic Shots, Piercing Tears, Ethereal Shots, and Flaming Shots combined. It’s simple, but I think it’d be good and neat
I just got Gnawed leaf and Leech friend + lv 3 bandage baby pet and It was surprising super op it was probably the most passive run ever
make sure you have mom's bracelet for tech x rubber cement if you have a chance to do high damage
Ludivico and gnawed leaf makes the freest win for anyone! I also had taurus so I could wait until I had Taurus effect and go back to afk
another thing, if you get technology with brimstone than you get a damage up which you dont get when picking up technology on its own
Continuum Brimstone is by far my favorite combo

Every flying enemy: Pathetic.
Aquarius and homing shots should be an actual challenge. With a blindfold so you can't shoot, but your goo will seek and destroy.
Homing creep sounds like something someone on the dev team suggested as a joke, but Edmund was like "yeah, awesome, let's do it."
Lachryphagy with tech 2 is pretty good

I guess it's kinda a synergy but between an enemy and an item. Rotten Tomato and the Grab Hands. If you get a tomato shot off of an enemy that shares the room, the hand will grab it and take it away.

Ipecac, brimstone, and soy milk, one of my favorite synergies
Aquarius + Little Horn is wack as well. Aquarius is now just an all around great item. (Though, still somewhat bad against flying enemies, but who cares?)
Sad that monstros technology didnt make it on, that one is really fun
Spoon bender + heart generation + tainted Eve is insane
If you want a cool synergy that utilizes otherwise useless items, try Kamikaze on Tainted Judas. Or rather, use Kamikaze together with Dark Arts.

Found one with a buddy the other day, it was third eye and soy milk, and cupid's arrow.
Honestly kinda basic, but it was a pretty cool auto shotgun of "Go fuck yourself"

I'm surprised I haven't seen someone mention Gnawed Leaf and Monstrance. Ever since I saw Monstrance in Antibirth, I immediately thought, "This would go great with Gnawed Leaf." A pretty boring combo but it can be an instant run winner depending on which route you're going planning to take
This was only focused on old items but that’s definitely a fun new synergies
