tell the trader to throw the items to their right ,same as you , then both walk to left to get those
remember to check the place and not trade at the trading hall or the place they prepared

Well I just met a really nice player. I said if i can trade my BAT RING for his ICE bracelet but he said that I'm overpaying. But I just drop it anyway. And he even ask me again if I'm sure that if I want it back, but i said no he can keep it because he was being honest! Love to see more honest people.❤

Fun fact about scammers: they r bad at scamming
Theres this one trade room where you drop your item in your side and the other one drops it to the side and when you try to get the other players item the other way is blocked
I give an idea for safer trade
1.ask him/her to create a wall thickness three glass pane so he/she wont kick you out
2.show spawn point
3.distance trade
4.dont agree to trade at lobby because he she might have a friend that can sneak at your back
If he/she dont agree to this agreement then dont trade he/she probably a scammer
When you do distance trade try asking him/her to put atleast 2 blocks under the blocks that you supposed to drop at, so teaming up trick don't work
If you use trapdoor and fountain you can glich to the wall and to back to your item easy

Another trick: distance trade
They:i will give u 900 ice coin for ur sky ward
And they will split the coins and drop them we also drop in distance
Drop trade scam is how when both player drop items then a s,cammer switch off his net and then he go and take ur item but in ur Phone it wilk show he is standing where he was but he took items and whem he net on in ur mobile it show like he teleport from wherever he was

I know a trick: u build a big trading system and on the roof u make tubes connecting the 2 rooms then when u get someone u say to themed u wanna make sure its not a scam" they say yes u say climb ladder they do it then u say trust now? they say yes and u buy 4 blocks in inventory don't show them then u say climb my ladder to go to ur place and they do so and u block ur tube so they can't take ur item

i got scammed by my own friend lol, he had a shop to use ice coins to buy stuff and i bought chest of gems and gave him the coins(150) and when i was chatting he dissapeared, I assumed that i was scammed but tbh, 150 ice coins isnt that much, I have 9K ice coins so it doesn't really matter
Also the part where you said emotional damage, thats funny and partially true, tho I didnt care at that time as it was not something very valuable... if it was very valuable i would have cried and unfriend him too
I got scammed by someone who named ashley i wanted to trade my 8 purple gem for a sword and we trade but not using trade system she said drop and she drop too but she set a spawn in my place and thats how i lost my gems;(

One time I was on my friend's Island and He was trading with his other friend and I was just looking. Let's act like the other friend is Guy B and my friend is Guy A. So Guy B was gonna trade his Dragon Sword I think for 10 or 20 stacks of GB. Guy A said for Guy B to give first and Guy B said for Guy A to give first. I said you can trust Guy A I know him. But Guy B still didn't wanna give first so Guy A said that he will give 10 stacks of GB first then Guy B will give the sword and Guy A will give the other GB after. So Guy A gave Guy B 10 stacks of GB then Guy B put his Dragon Sword in his hand and said 'hold up I am lagging'. And then... He left and never came back...
Guy A was very sad. That's the sad story of my friend who lost their GB to another friend (not his friend anymore). So um I am still friends with him.
There is another trick it's the kinda of one of it but in two rooms and a door when u enter the door u will fall after u fall the scammer will take Ur item and leave while Ur left in the ground

This scam heppend at any island your or the other person the trick is - first you say that you will give a good item then say that drop ur item beside you and stay far. After that when he drop item and he text then you off ur wifi/data and take it and able the data/ wifi sometimes game will kick you out but it works so many times my friend is a scammer he shows me
This is why when "poor" people visit my island i always visit theirs to to inspect some blocks that are like rare to get and some blocks that cost gcubes
I have been fooled by these ways, at most the first way ;---;
there is a catpet above fence and u drop ur items on s pedistal and they brake a block above it for the player to go through and the player cant go over a fence and then tey kick you from thair land
Being a scammer is like ruining ur own reputation. Even if you only scam 1 time.

U mised 1 there is ping spoofing aka net glitch and u can do it with friend while u tell them to go ur island while ur friend or alt does the trick then u visit ur island and yea rip ur items if ur distance trading
you cant see glass blocks through doors so if you make 2 doors and one of them is a fake one with glasses
