Dany wrote this song too. Nobody should be that good at anything at that age. More proof these sisters are Alien Unicorns. You can hear her scream, beg and cry for her love when she does this live. She just pours her guts out and makes you feel it. Breathtaking!

Live, it is such a strong performance because Dany is not just singing. She is emoting and *selling* the song. In some of the singing competitions like Voice or Talent, they tell the singers they have to sell the song. They can't smile while singing a sad song, for example. Dany sells. She does one Hell of a job of selling.

Thanks for reacting to this EP. It had been a long time since I heard an album so entirely conceptual in rock, and so even in quality. It is a complete work. She really is a gem, breaking down all the prejudices that could fit in heavy rock: three teenage girls and Spanish speaking girls making great rock ... These girls break all the molds. Congratulations!

Fun one guys! Nathan really should see the Foro Didi performance when Dany's guitar mic went out. What do you do when technical problems strike? Keep on going like it never happened. Dany really nailed it at both Lunario and Foro Didi.

I really love your approach with this doing studio and then live so that he can catch all of the lyrics first and then really watch the performance without the distraction of reading lyrics at the same time. Kudos to you for that. Really enjoying you taking him on this journey.

So funny. I've been watching you guys for other stuff and only 'found' The Warning this last year. Now I go back and watch this and I can see between you those late night phone calls, those long and often quiet conversations at the edge of the woods or the edge of the world. Your friendship and the depth you allow yourselves to experience in each other's company shines through silently here. I've had friends like this and The Warning always reminds me of that. Getting 'still' with someone else is a lucky thing.

I'm glad you guys are going through this album. It's my favorite album of all. I'm 52, and all other albums, save The Warning's EP and XXICB, have faded into the distance of my memory.
That's the last time she ever played that guitar. I wonder if she was thinking about that (at all) before or during the song. It was purchased as a reward for a contribution to their Kickstarter campaign, which funded the album production.

What you may not know is but when she did this song at Foro Didi her acoustic guitar failed to work so what do you think she did? She hung it around her neck like a piece of bling and kept going, and she still gave a hell of a performance.

I would say to use live versions from the Foro Didi gig whenever possible, as it tends to have the best quality. The only one where I would say to use one from somewhere other than the Foro Didi gig (due to a technical problem where the guitar doesn't work) is Crimson Queen, which doesn't matter now anyway.

The Warning are one of the great bands that I believe actually sound better live than in the studio. I have seen top artist that I really enjoyed their music on LPs, but when I saw them live they really sucked. I don't think that will ever happen to The Warning because live you can really feel the energy they bring to their music. I can't wait to hear them live, hopefully in Dallas this Feb.

You can hear Dany struggle with some of the singing, her voice cracks a couple times. But I think that adds to the performance as the song is supposed to be about struggling to understand fantasies, as well as the whole album being about a struggle from within. It an incredible performance. One that I have listened to possibly over a thousand times. Yes, I am a huge fan of this band!
