गणपती रायकर यांनी काम आटोपून बसवनगल्लीत त्यांच्या घरासमोर दुचाकी उभी केली होती, त्याच वेळी जुना वीज खांब कोसळून दुचाकीचे मोठे नुकसान झाले. हेस्कॉमच्या दुर्लक्षामुळे ही घटना घडल्याचा आरोप त्यांनी केला आहे. तसेच, त्यांनी हेस्कॉमने नुकसानभरपाई द्यावी अशी मागणी केली आहे. ही घटना शाहापूर पोलिस ठाण्याच्या हद्दीत घडली.
