I watched this anime when i was 11 years old, I cried watching it. Then I sang this opening as a lullaby to my cousin and sister when they were babies.
This was the first anime I watched when I was really little. I’m so happy to see its opening in such high quality. This show will always hold a special place in my heart :)

大人になると涙腺ゆるくなって色んなモノで泣くようになったけど、涙腺ガッチリ固まってる子供の頃にTVアニメ見て号泣したのはこの作品が唯一。

地方在住なのでこのアニメは観た事がないですが、流石は故・岡崎律子さんの曲ですね。静寂に包まれたかの様な優しい歌が心の底まで届いて響きます。
