We're always feeding at least a couple of blackbirds each spring, so it's interesting to see what they are going back to! I found your channel through your mole video, it's nice to see someone who doesn't want to kill them for a change. I hope you'll make some more videos at some point.
+bouncybobcat yeah this was the first birds nest I'd ever managed to film but I was surprised how quickly they left the nest, I think it was only two days after this video that they were gone. I would love to make some more videos soon I just haven't had much time lately and I didn't think many people were watching them. So I appreciate the support :)
+Only Nature I know, it's amazing how fast they grow up. I hope they got on okay. We haven't had a nest in our garden yet so we don't really get to see this. They come and get food but it always get taken off somewhere else. And when they've fledged the parents don't seem to bring them to the food like the starlings do. A few people seem to be watching and I think it's just hard to get noticed on UA-cam since it's such a massive site. Hopefully things will take off a bit at some point, everyone starts off small.
+lps stop the motion Yeah haha, it's common with a lot of nesting birds. Although when they get bigger the parent birds will sometimes just carry the fecal sacs away and drop them elsewhere.
