- Between the months of May to September, once the water temperatures have risen. There is one method that can certainly prove better than most if its a net of carp you are after. That method is the pellet waggler. It’s a method that has been responsible for massive nets of carp on mostly commercial lakes. In this latest episode of Amer’s Angle I picked a fishery that I’ve never been to before to run through everything I’ve learnt fishing this method for many years. Everything from the set up, feeding, switching the approach to the changing conditions to keep catching and the differences it makes. It’s definitely a very busy and active way of fishing! I hope you enjoy the film. Tight lines.
Great video Amer showing the pellet wag and how to fish/set up Tight Lines Steve Amison👍🦆🎣
Thanks mate

Thanks mate
Brilliant again mate keep em coming 👍🎣
Thanks Mate 👍
Another good watch mate
Thanks mate. 👍
Yes another nice video fishing my absolute favourite method. Love the reel but that tournament rod despite a nice action 2'' too long in the handle. I use the Free Spirit Hi S and Supera X both sensible length handle. Tournament Pro 3010 reel. Love your tip on two float stops above too l'll do that now, and l also do the larger main line long. Great thanks
A mega bagging day. Can we have a river fishing video next?
Thanks George. Sure a few river videos will be filmed soon. 😊
How do you know when to use pellet waggler or when to use method feeder on commercials please?
It’s a great question. Usually during the warmer months is when you will get the best results with a pellet waggler. But what intend to do is feed pellets (8mm) over the same line I would also fish a method feeder. Then I would start on the method and come shallow if I see signs of fish feeding in the upper layers, or if there method is slow and line bites the only indications.
Another great video, thanks Amer! Out of interest, which lake were you fishing on?
Thank you Laura. Wagtail lake
