I grew up in Korea and when I came back to my home town, I had lot of Filipino friends so I tried Sinigang for the first time and I didn’t liked it. It tasted like a rotten soup(maybe because it’s sour?). Few years passed by and I tried it again and o my, I fall in love with this soup! I went to a restaurant and eat this soup again and again and again which cost me $14 every time. And now, I learned how to cook it so I make this soup when I’m sick lol. So don’t feel bad about Sooks response to sinigang, she just needs to try it one more time lol. Also Crispy pata(?) is so good that I make my Korean friends try every time they visit me. They don’t like it at the first try lol but later, they usually ask me to buy that food again. literally all of my friends from Korea has done this. They will say that they don’t like crispy pata in the first time but when they go back to Korea, they will talk about Crispy pata lol
