Rings of Power Season 2 has arrived, and what a joke it is.
The orcs?
- Oh, they’re just misunderstood family men who don’t want to go to war.
The elves?
- Apparently, they’ve forgotten everything they’ve learned over their long, immortal lives.
Sauron?
- He’s actually the good guy, just totally misunderstood.
Meanwhile, the folks running the show at Amazon are showing off their stunning lack of talent.
Honestly, I bet the fans could whip up a better screenplay in their sleep than the one Amazon spent nearly a billion dollars on.
What a colossal waste.

You can't make an alloy out of just any two metals, but gold and copper alloys are pretty darn easy.
Electrum, bronze and brass are the earliest alloys used by humans thousands of years ago.
Hey, are you working in this industry ? I would be happy to hear more about this process. I've recently been on holiday in real life in another country where there was a metal melting factory. We were not allowed to go in, but could feel the heat from the metals from where we were standing. I found the whole process fascinating. But, by the looks of the factory workers and their sweat, seems like a tough line of work.
Other than that, in a fictional world where someone is supposedly doing this kind of work for hundreds or thousands or years I'm guessing they would know what metals are compatible.
And if I would be paid several million dollars to direct a show where this kind of thing is discussed, I would surely involve an expert. It's a shame I cannot directly ping in UA-cam anyone involved in this show 😅
@@aivsfans I am a welder by trade and I tinker in my backyard forge as a hobby.
I work adjacent to a metallurgical engineer, but they're several levels of education above me (I think he has a Master's Degree).
I can explain a lot of things in broad strokes, but not so much the finer details of how and why certain things can form alloys and others can't.

The robotics and automotive clubs at my local Community College will take on projects and have students work on them, but I'm not sure I could get a *literal Terminator* past the approval stage.
