The answer to why not Galaxy 2 is that the Yoshi gameplay requires precision pointer controls. Something that couldn’t be solved in a quick port, requires more dev time to make it work
Absolutely incorrect. Yoshi pointer doesn't require anything more precise than the Pull Stars and those were already accounted for. There are more Pull Stars in SMG1 than any amount of Yoshi flower things in SMG2. The reality is 3D All-Stars likely existed to do something with a surplus of the smallest GB capacity Switch game cards and SMG2 is the most derivative game of any of the ones considered for the collection, they opted to drop it rather than use the next higher capacity cards.
@@TyranBatten You mean the freest section of Grandmaster? It's quite slow and you can take it rather slowly. And mind you, 99.9% of the game is NOT Grandmaster Galaxy. That isn't a valid defense. I have booted up the games now to verify (on both Wii U's Wii emulation of the games and my original Wii), Pull Stars and Yoshi flowers have the same exact dead zone, and identical frame data.
@@AREAlhero you’re not thinking about the problem correctly. Nothing to do with frame data. Think about the functionality of Yoshi a little more. Yoshi requires you to move with the stick, use the jump button, and to point with the remote and press another button. You alternate between these different actions frequently. In Mario Galaxy 1, when you get to pull stars what to do you have to do? Nothing except point and click. You don’t really need to think about moving and jumping during those sections. Now think about what you would do when you’re in handheld mode with Yoshi and you need to tap the screen with your right hand to touch a flower, or eat an enemy? You have to take your hand away from the buttons to do so, removing your ability to jump at the same time. It’s a clunkier setup than the first game. Playing Galaxy 1 in handheld mode was already not great, playing Yoshi in handheld mode would be even worse. Nintendo doesn’t want you to play a game (for the most part) in a suboptimal way. They want it to work. I don’t think this is the only reason they haven’t released Galaxy 2 btw. It’s just one reason that makes it is more complicated than people give it credit for.

The next 3D Mario will top all previous 3D Mario. I think it will have a bigger scale in terms of narrative. Not just DK, other characters will have a bigger role in the game.

I will say that when it comes to these fanon wikis, I do think they need to be classified as which ones are fanon wikis and which one are canon wikis, as I do believe there are those that can create fan content and make pages for it, but both Google & Fandom (owner of Wikia) don't seem to care about that at all. I think it is unfair to call a Cease & Desist as they are ideas created by fans of a franchise after all, its like asking Nintendo to Cease & Desist actual fangames, which can also have their own fanon wikis too.
I was late to the game being born in 94 and all, but I will say my first console was passed down from my uncle and it was a super Nintendo, I want to say before kindergarten my parents got me a PlayStation for Christmas and that’s where my journey started. Mario games, legend of Zelda, and for PlayStation Frogger, crash, bandicoot, and Final Fantasy 7 is what started me off.

I think it makes more sense if MP 4 is like BOTW. So MP 4 will be on Switch and Switch 2. The backlash of not having MP 4 on Switch would be huge. The game was promissed to be on Switch many years ago.

it sucks that the Switch successor wont be talked about since its basically what everyone is anticipating at this point. The Switch is pretty much on its way out. But Nintendo always does its own thing so this is par for the course. Hopefully we get something before the end of the year.
I'm not expecting tooo much craziness with this direct, it's funny because i'm where Bless was with the xbox show, I'm like 5 or 6 with hype level, but then again I'm kinda like 50/50 with Nintendo games. Plenty I'm into , but also plenty I'm just straight up not interested at all lol.

I think with the new volume of gamescasts and more predictions episodes, I think they need to be more strict about structure. A lot of these start out really freeform where people throw out things and have a conversation about it, and then Tim will go through his list of specifics and have very duplicative conversations. This was almost 90 minutes and probably could have been like 45. I like the meandering conversations on some shows, but when you’re putting out a show every day and trying to keep people invested through all of these showcases, sometimes less is more
No we aren't getting any fire emblem games this year, engage came out last year and intelligent and just released the ttyd remake, it wouldn't make sense for Nintendo to release it this year or announce it tomorrow It makes a lot more sense for Nintendo to released the remake of fe4 as a cross gen release on both systems. that way they can avoid the poor sales like the last remake and have a FE game for the launch year of the new console, it makes some much more sense than seeing it tomorrow and coming this year
My prediction one more thing xenoblade chronicles x for the switch then tune in to this date where the switch 2 be shown with mw2, mw3 and black ops 6 on it

But I think It’s Always fun to come in with Low Expectations in my opinion. It’s kinda weird though.. Since I find Most Of Xbox’s Showcase to be Boring since most of those Games that are announced all feel and look the Same.. too many Realistic games that feel souless.

Like really? We still care about this? We probably get more information on yet another insignificant add on for a 10 year old MarioKart game (which is still close to, if not at full price like it was all those years ago) They rely heavily on the same IPs and this kind of goes into my feeling of Nintendo as a whole which is do the bear minimum, overcharge and take advantage/capitalise on a lot of casual consumers who don’t know any better (a lot of families that just buy something with the Nintendo label). The cycle continues….no new hardware, shitty and expensive online, not allowing access to old titles, rarely offering discounts on their exclusives (even years after release), consistently releasing games that can’t even run a stable 30 fps in 2024….etc. So yeah, maybe I just hate Nintendo hahaha! (That being said, I do still enjoy some of their games, but I rarely actually give Nintendo my business)

Dread was not an amazing game. It was a good game. I enjoyed it a lot because it tickled the nostalgia pickle. They couldn’t done more with it. A solid 7.
Nah, Dread was great. It provided a novel Metroidvania design with the best boss fights a Metroid/Metroidvania game has ever had. It's at least an 8 or 9 out of 10 on all objective measures
