Understand your Benefit Statement | Teachers' Pension Scheme

Your Benefit Statement contains lots of important information about your teacher's pension, and we want to make sure you know how to access and make the most of it.
In this video, we'll walk you through how to track your retirement benefits online. You'll get an estimate of what your benefits are currently worth, updated monthly if you’re contributing to the Scheme, or annually if you're a deferred member.
You'll also see a summary of your benefits, whether it's your final salary, career average, or both, along with important information such as your Teachers' Pensions Reference number and your status in the scheme.
We've made it easy for you to access your Benefit Statement. Just log in to My Pension Online (MPO) and click on 'Benefit Statement' on the left-hand side menu bar. If you haven't registered for an MPO account yet, it's quick and simple - all you need is your National Insurance number and a personal email address.
