Im 16 years old from Brazil and see all yours videos. Today we made all day enduro in a very very tough terrain and i could climb all the climbs and ride prety well with the techniques. Tanks for all those awsome vídeos.
+Supermofools kind of weird, i found out they are actually australian but choose to do production over there so obviously a lot of dutch staff which can only be a good thing. :)
thanks for the excellent reviews and tips , i bought a ktm 250 freeride 2 smoker thanks to your review, had a ton of problems with it but have got it pretty well sorted now and absolutely love it, although i do find myself looking at the 300rr beta and the x-trainer a lot ! cheers and please keep the vids coming, awsome ☺
+Greg glad you got the freeride sorted, greg. i had fun riding one occasionally and it's way too small for me but can see they'd suit some riders. but damn that front brake isn't good for long steep descents!
Your reviews and product suggestions have been very helpful! I'll look into these rotors when mine are toast for sure. Has anyone on the gumby crew tried the Motoz tractionators?
Just thought I should put it out there that Menda have released a new tyre called the Equillimax. It sounds like it's very similar to your Motoz hybrid....
+JacksonEnduro i think i'll be grabbing these from now on. up to a year ago i wasn't too fussy but we are doing so many long steep descents nowadays it makes sense to go very high quality...
+Armando Alvarez normally yes, armando. but in this case i'd only just put new discs on recently so kept using the old ones. not a great idea as it took the first two rides for the slightly uneven wear on the pads to settle in. :(
Ohh and I got a pro shot chin at mount yesterday but I found that it is to wide at the end and my helmet comes into a point : ( it doesn't really fit at all... Any suggestions????
Hey, are these long lasting rotors? I wrecked my standard galfer rotors last weekend at transmoto as I used hard Moto master nitro pads. Do these rotors work with hard pads? Or do they get chewed up as quick as the Galfers?Cheers Barry!
i only used stock pads so not sure... i guess that will all come down to the hardness and quality of material. they'll be good on the latter but not sure about the former as you trade off braking performance with increased hardness.
Thanks for yet another great review! Your channel has grown into one of my most favourites here! (Flattery..Will there come a but?)I think there's a good balance between excellent (good god, now where's the but?) riding advise and product reviews! But (finally, here we go) I do have a suggestion: Could you please end your sentence in your commentary and maybe shut up for a second when the text inserts are displayed? You seem to like the snappy and it's probably a lot easier for you not to bother, but my short-attention-spanned brain keeps forgetting where you were mid sentence after I've read a page of whatever you threw at us as text. - which means I have to go back again. And that can't be demanded of me as a lazy viewer, right?
+JH Tjards yeah it's an interesting point. most people have the ability to read a short sentence and still follow the spoken narration, but not everyone of course. my way around it is simply hitting the pause button if needed for those bits, as well as the disclaimer and any large blocks of text. not the perfect solution but keeps the vids way shorter which many want. tricky though, there's a pile of guys asking for long videos of just riding and no narration or overlaid text nowadays so just trying to balance it all into one style....
Opa !! Meu amigo td bom ?
+Mandiocaoffroad Aguiar i think you would need to visit the motomaster website for info on the WR250F. steering dampers? sorry, we never ride fast enough to need them! but i think the goldentyre 'fatty' front is possibly a very cheap substitute! ua-cam.com/video/fIxfprRkNWM/v-deo.html
Mate, really dont want to be a smartass, but arent your discs installed with a wrong direction of rotation? Having a disc pattern like the one you have, I'd normally expect them to be installed other way around - so that when you brake, the braking perimeter of the disc is being pushed away from the rotation axis, and not inwards...just curious. And thanks for the vids - you are my favourite channel (even more now when it gets dark at 4pm here in Czech Republic and I dont manage riding after work:/ )
I know this video is old bu yes, you are correct. I saw that instantly, combine that with driving around in mud all day and you will wear those discs down pretty fast
+Jordan Gillan i guess so, my nearest motorbike shop stocks them... not for every model but the beta is the same as the katos so they are usually have them in already
+otpipe front disc? virtually every dirt bike model from 200cc onward, just use the 300exc when ordering. rear disc is different though, it's a 240mm, not a 220mm, so just order the rear disc used on the ktm 690.

Motomaster discs are the best. Both myself and my friend use them. And he is a National extreme enduro rider. Best he's ever had!
+JacksonEnduro i think i'll be grabbing these from now on. up to a year ago i wasn't too fussy but we are doing so many long steep descents nowadays it makes sense to go very high quality...
Very good review :)
Awesome vid! A question, do you change brake pads when you us a different rotor?
+Armando Alvarez normally yes, armando. but in this case i'd only just put new discs on recently so kept using the old ones. not a great idea as it took the first two rides for the slightly uneven wear on the pads to settle in. :(
man looks like a pretty good brake disc.
