💯💯❤My favorite olfactory groups are floral greens, oriental woodies and spicys. Adore rose too. I love greens notes, woods, musks, incense, amber, spicy notes, patchouli, violet, iris. I need my florals tempered down with lots of woods, greens, amber, and spices. I enjoy vanillas as long as they don't lean cheap or overly cake batter. 🤓
Musk is my number one. I wore Avon Odyssey as a teenager so musks have my heart and then its a very veryyy close tie between vanilla and caramel but i also looooove orris.
Ok, I guessed Vanilla, Tonga Bean and Amber for you before you even started! Right! I am a real fan of you, love! Mine are Rose, Musk and Violet. Thanks, Sarah!❤️🌹
Tonka is a fruit that resembles a small green mango and looks somewhat like a mango when you peel the paper thin skin off. When ripe its fleshy and you can eat the hairy flesh off. Then you can wash the seed and put it to dry. It grows in my country. When dried you harvest the seed and you then grate it to use it in mostly desserts. There are a few notes you can smell in the bean; cherry, vanilla, toasty, nutty and spicy depending on the age of the bean I noticed. I bake with it. I love it. Enjoyed your video as usual.
Vanilla is always the last note I smell on me when the fragrance had faded. I do love vanilla. My favorites right now are Shalimar EDP, but I do struggle with the soap note, and Mon Guerlain. Such a beautiful vanilla/lavender. I love it. I have an Orchidee Vanille dupe oil I like. I tried the real thing, but couldn't smell it. That happens a lot to me. I heard tonka has a spicy vanilla scent. I guess not? AHH! Two of your favorites are mine as well. Vanilla and amber. I just recently fell for tuberose. Gorgeous nail polish.
How interesting! I have always assumed that Tonka was a variation of Vanilla. Lavender and Tonka combo sounds so interesting.... Thanks for the heads up about Soap & Glory. Was surprised *not* to see Si Le Parfum for amber fragrances.
I love purple, and any scent that emits a purple aura! Favorite notes are Incense, violet, vanilla, plum, jasmine, bergamot, honey, banana, amber, truffle, angelica...
That is a nice well-rounded list. I love them all too. The most challenging notes for me are sandalwood, lactonic and animalic musks. Can't wait to hear yours!
I was in Ulta the other day, and they had MK Sexy Amber. I wouldn’t have even smelled it if you hadn’t just talked about it. I wasn’t sure about it first, but it just kept growing in me and really stuck to my skin! Now I really hope to get a bottle someday. I just love it!
I like vanilla mostly when its paired with amber or musk. Tonka is up there for me too. i've always been a sandalwood girl. I love those perfumes that push the boundaries between masculinity & femininity.... notes like cedar, vetiver, sandalwood, neroli, musk, grapefruit, clean patchoulis. I also gravitate towards powder, Iris, Galbanum, Bergamot, Orange, Orange flower, Iso e super, Pear, jasmine. The notes that give me the most problems are Rose, Tobacco, Incense and Leather. ❤❤❤
Loved this series with the three notes! Tonka is a favorite of mine, Dior Feve Delicieuse is good one. Tom Ford tobacco Vanille is another one that is comforting. 💖💖🌸🌸
Violet is for sure my favorite floral. I enjoy all purple flowers and rose. I'm also plum obsessed. I enjoy suedes, leather, all musks (vintage and modern), vanilla, licorice, patchouli, ambers, incense. I don't get along with aquatics, yellow florals, sage, or melon.
Sarah, Love this topic! I love tonka also! When I used to make potpourri and sell it I always used the tonka bean pods in mine. This was over 40 years ago when you couldn’t get it in stores. The tonka bean made my potpourri concoctions last for years. I used to love to make it surrounded by all those beautiful smells! I still make soap and bath salts for gifts from time to time😊 I’m almost out of Madonna’s Truth or Dare Naked(I haven’t been able to find the Truth or Dare one) and so far I’m coming up empty trying to find another bottle. I wish I would have known how much I was going to enjoy it because I would have purchased 2 bottles! I’m going to check out several of the perfumes you mentioned in this video that sparked my interest. So many beautiful perfumes… As always I’m looking forward to your next video❤️🌷❤️
If you love vanilla and amber get your nose on note vanille by m micaleff. Not sure if you have but it's beautiful. 😊 or on a cheaper side ambre secret la maison de la vanille.
I really want to go into Lush and smell their perfumes, but I always end up buying something when I walk in ( whether I want to or not) because they take an item off the shelf to demonstrate, and then I feel like I have buy something since they wasted it on me. Such a good strategy when I think about it! 🤣
Great video! So my favorite notes are freesia, violet, powder, musk, tuberose, coconut, datura, iris, rose, amber, sandalwood, icy accords, and aquatic accords. I like peach and apricot too just as long as they don't go syrupy. Exclamation was one of my first ever perfumes and it was a sweet refreshing baby powder scent that I still love up to this day. Powder may be my favorite ever accord. :)))))
Least favorite made me first think of lily of the valley, carnation, and osmanthus. It’s super rare but sometimes a fragrance has one of these and I like it. Raspberry is also a least favorite note in fragrances but I really like raspberry desserts and candy. 🤷🏻♀️ How about you?
@@aquababy5 I don't do well with patchouli, coconut or bergamot heavy perfumes. I like the smell of coconut though, just not the way it's done in perfumery.
Hi Sarah i enjoyed your video .Ik really like Divine Vanilla and Orchidee Vanille van Cleef & Arpels ,Ambre vanille from Laura Mercier is a stunnig perfume and one of my favorite perfumes .
Thank you so much for describing the 3 main notes in such detail. I always thought I liked Amber but the dusty library book smell always puzzled me. I didn't know that was a scent note of amber
Hi there! This is a KKW palette that came out for Christmas 2 or 3 years ago. It’s a slim 5 pan. Here is a link I found for one on Mercari so you can see which one it is. merc.li/JmG7vz7Nb?sv=0
Hi Sarah, I love Floral notes, but was intrigued by the manifesto perfume I have always been curious what it smelled like but wasn't willing to spend the money on it. You did mention a dupe for manifesto what is it , maybe I wont feel so bad if I don't like it.
It's interesting because for me, jasmine is my number one favorite note, but yet I can't stand Jasmin sambac, the whole reason why I can't bear Manifesto or Jasmine Rouge. My nose can really detect the difference between the two. I guess I'm super picky. Vanilla and musk are my other favorites.
Yes 💖💖 please give the least favorite notes 😊 You look beautiful!
Thank you so much Love! ❤️🥰🫶

I loved this video! I hope you could do another one but with your top 3 favorite floral notes 🌸🌹🌼
I can definitely do that! ❤️🥰
I second that request!
My gosh you look so stunning.
Thank you so much! ❤️🥰🫶
I think my favorite notes lately, are orris, labdanum, and pear… vanilla is high ranking also.

Your skin is to die for! I live the glow. I'm not really feeling the matte skin trend;)
Thank you so much! ❤️
Vanille Extreme is one of my signature scents! I adore it!!
❤️❤️
Thanks for this video. I really enjoy those same notes, but I also love white florals, rose and sea notes.

Sarah! Today your makeup is EVERYTHING! Did you do a chatty get ready with me for this look?
Thank you so much! I don’t think this is the look I did but I definitely can in my next one. ❤️🥰
Same with me... Tonka, then vanilla, then rum. I am a sucker for a perfume with RUM.
I also really enjoy pineapple and rhubarb notes.
I love purple, and any scent that emits a purple aura! Favorite notes are Incense, violet, vanilla, plum, jasmine, bergamot, honey, banana, amber, truffle, angelica...

My current favorite top 3 notes are White florals (surprisingly), vanilla and musk

If you’re still looking for a holy grail white amber spray version, you should try Ambre by Ambre Blends Spritzer. Perfection :)

Hi Sarah, I love Floral notes, but was intrigued by the manifesto perfume I have always been curious what it smelled like but wasn't willing to spend the money on it. You did mention a dupe for manifesto what is it , maybe I wont feel so bad if I don't like it.
Hi there! The dupe is by Women’s Secret and it is called Eau My Secret. ❤️
I'm just getting started, but so far I'm in love with fig, salty vanillas, and orange as long as it isn't cleaning product vibes.
I love that Lalique but I see what you mean about it not being safe blind buy
Which one do you like best froM Gallagher, Rose all Dae or Wicked Good?
Wicked Good for sure but they are both stunning! ❤️🥰
Thanks for sharing ❤
❤️❤️❤️
