Great tips. In the BluTech water softener. I replace the first and second filter, then remove the tasty filter and pour my salt in the metal tasty filter holder. Connect the water softener and go through the rejuvenation process as normal, then at the end install the Tasty filter. Makes the process so much easier and was told this was recommended by BluTech.
We had the froli system in our Tab400. It's a very good, comfortable system. We bought a 25ft rear hatch, Flying Cloud, we bought it last spring, we love it. Our first trip in it was to California, Oregon and Washington State, then home to PA.
Sounds like you are putting it to good use and we are so glad to hear! Thanks for watching and your feedback. Hope to see yall on the road sometime soon.
I’m a fan of a sewer cap with a handle to make it easy to twist off. Something like Valterra F02-3106BK. I’ll also use the black flush hose to drain the grey tank with the hose connection where appropriate.
Those are great for sure. Thank you for watching and your feedback! For anyone reading comments that is unfamiliar with this, here is a link: amzn.to/3ZTKg5P
Awesome tips Brad. I like that Bluetech water filter and the water softener great add on. Brad you make an amazing house husband with all the things you do to keep yalls RV in top operating order.
Hi Brad, what precautions for the filtration system in freezing weather? Can you run heated hoses on either side of the system? Shut it down and bring it inside? Never go where it is that cold😂?
Hey! Excellent questions. You can run a heated hose on either side of it and then put all of it in a Tupperware box (see my original video when I got this system and had it in the box) and insulate that and heat that too. I prefer to just fill the fresh tank and put the filter system inside to keep it from freezing and/or stay where its warm enough to not worry about it.
Since you touched on the mattress cushioners, what are your thoughts on making a larger hard wood surface so the twin mattresses are fully on a solid surface. Ours hangs over the cabinet about 4” so when you sit on the side of the bed it sags.
Hello Jeff! I am a fan of the woodworkers who make the mattress. Matt from Nomad Custom Crafts has a fantastic option and will color match your interior. www.nomadcustomcrafts.com That said, I don't have any of these but hope to make my own as soon as Im stationary near a wood shop again.
I have the Mini 6. You need to measure yours to confirm. It’s either the 5.5 or 6. Get 10% off of your SnapPad purchase with code 13ADVENTURES rvsnappad.com/products/mini-6-singles

Thanks for another informative video. Great job. FWIW - we swapped out our hot water heater for a Truma and are so much happier.
We've considered it as we hear that same comment often. It may be something we do in the future. Not unhappy with what we have now.

I do my best to keep things running smooth around here! The Marine Corps taught me well!
Thank you for the maintenance updates. Very helpful! Merry Christmas to you.
Thank you so much! Merry Christmas to you too!
