Repairability, the SAME reason we ONLY use pre 2007 trucks at the company I work for! The new stuff has too much crap on it that breaks, & is expensive to diagnose & repair.
Dude is right & I follow his philosophy, all equipment I have is used from auction, fraction of the price, independent techs can work on it & with their age 3rd parties usually develop parts for them for a fraction & they make the same money as used but you get to keep a larger percentage
