I was well into the fragrance game buying designers before i purchased my first niche bottle. Now, hundreds of bottles in i have come to learn the quality of the copies rivals the originals. Case in point I own TF Tuscan leather along with PDM Goldophin and La Yuqawam. I find it difficult to tell any of them apart on skin after 20 minutes.
Amazon on sale that week. Its 56.99 if u buy from fragrancenet by doing so through Google to get the 37% off coupon. If u don’t know what I mean about that coupon let me know
@@FragranceDOUD Does the 2 oz bottles have a pressurized sprayer? I purchased a 6.7 oz bottle and it has a pressurized sprayer which atomizes a fine mist like a super soaker. I can’t tell if I applied too much to my wrist and that is the reason why it’s not projecting as well (Wrists tend to be a cooler pulse point and over saturation on oily skin tends to mute fragrances) or if this is typical for this fragrance? Sillage is excellent though at the moment. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated?!
@@FragranceDOUD How do you apply Amber Oud “Tobacco” edition? I noticed a HUGE difference in performance and scent profile when sprayed differently on the skin (since this has a pressurized atomizer and distributes a lot of juice). The first day I got AOTE I applied a “localized” spray to each wrist from 5 inch spray distance. The scent was very dense in the air, 6-8 hrs sillage and 12+ hrs longevity. A couple of days later I applied 1 spray each wrist in a “sweeping” motion across the skin with the atomizer at 5” spray distance. Completely different experience, the scent was more diffusive and lighter in scent profile compared to a localized spray. Projection seems to be improved at the moment, and I have a hunch that longevity will be reduced (applied 1 hour ago). Projection is most likely increased because of a wider surface area and a higher evaporation rate of the fragrance from the skin?! Have you noticed this as well when applying your fragrances? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! P.s. Merry Christmas!
@@RobertLaTuso it’s a stronger fragrance so I apply one spray on each pulse point (both sides of neck, both wrists, and one spray on shirt. That’s about it
@@shawnlatour2680 this was one of my first videos ever when I just started my journey into fragrances from years ago I didn’t know the difference between oud and al Haramain calling it AOUD as it was my first time seeing that word. It wasn’t until about 6 month later I realized that even tho they spell it different it’s still pronounced oud but I’ve corrected it since in future videos
I have tried both, and to me they smell just like a cheap food vanilla concentre and thats it, realy boring, have hoped for the scent of a real vanilla.
This was one of my first videos when I started collecting. My channel is about following my fragrance journey and this was I think the 2nd or third video I ever made. I had never had a fragrance with oud our aoud on it until that week and Where I bought it at fragrance outlet they called it ow-ed so I didn’t know any better. But a few days later I found out when I got boss bottled oud how to pronounce it correctly. But since at the point in this video I only had 30 fragrances and none with oud in the name I didn’t know what it was as I hadn’t watched any videos about oud or anything having to do with it outside of smelling samples of oils used in perfumery but they didn’t come with how to pronounce. Again I was just trying to come into reviewing from a beginners experience and I hope you forgive the misunderstanding at that time
My bad! Fair enough mistake to make when you’re new to fragrances I suppose. As you say aoud and Oud are just two different spellings. People often get confused with agar and Oud also. …just the exact same thing!
First reviewer to put the notes side by side to compare. Thank you sir!

Might have to pick this one up…having a tough time justifying the expensive Tom Ford at the moment. Thanks dOUD!
Do you consider Creed Millésime Impérial very similar to Club de Nuit Milestone Armaf?
How does tabacoo touch from Alhambra compare?
No idea what that is. No one on my Channel has ever mentioned that brand before
So its not as good as the TF but for 20 bucks (Amazon) it’s fantastic. I wear it instead of my TF so I can enjoy the fragrance and preserve my TF
@@FragranceDOUDUau. Tobacco Touch is world wide known.
Good video, where'd you pick the amber oud up from? Been looking for a cheapie ever since I smelled TV.

@ my apologies for my comment coming off in a rude way , reading it now I see it looks that way !
I remember when Amber Oud was just $20. Now it shot to nearly £50 for 60ml in the UK. So just save some more money n get the real OG.
Ya at this point I agree when i made this video it was less but now TV can be found around $150 on sales and is the better buy
Nice review. Apparently the one without the 'Tobacco Edition" just 'Amber Oud Eau de Parfum' is a lot closer to Tobacco Vanille Tom Ford
Never heard that, and the notes online don't at all make me think it would
Making shit up

Lol versossy and owd 😂
It’s a bit cringe that you’re doing a fragrance review and you can’t even pronounce Oud properly…. In fact that’s quite cringe
