A 3rd way to check for good spark is to have your buddy hold onto it while you turn it over and based on high he jumps will tell you how strong the spark was.
Class fella. A use to do it to new people that jst came and started working on the farm. A would grab the electric fence and grab him to Hahaha.. 2:23 2:24
Nice of you to post such a video from start to finish for folks.. and a perfect saw for the video in my opinion.. they're everywhere too its seems.. interested to see how much you can take off before the bottom of the skirt free ports.. Thankyou again for your videos..
i just ported one of these for fun. squish was HUGE and my piston was scored bad. Since i didnt want to put money into it slammed it back together. Unfortunately it only has 100psi compression because of the scratched up rings lol
No was a little down. I posted a video on my channel. I did base gasket delete, blended the transfers and the bottom, widened the exhaust port and narrowed the divider, raised it a little slammed it back together lol.
Hello neighbor I was wandering why I see peaple pull out the pull rope on their saw wen they shut it off . Also has anybody told you that you are starting to thin just slightly up top??..also I like your style man ..wen it comes to tractors and saws my favorite color is red
The starter will engage at the very last moment when you shut the saw off. You hold the rope out because it provides a little cushion when this happens. When it happens you can hear it click. Give it a try sometime. You will be able to feel it. I started thinning in high school. It made for an interesting adventure. I tend to gravitate towards the John Deere model A but I like them all.
Sorry, but the last thing I want is to spend money on a Homelite saw so I can let it set in the shed. It is spending money on a worthless chainsaw. I stated out using these saws and am not interested in going back. Either a ms261 or a 550xp. The worst that could happen is, I ruin a cylinder. I can buy an other. They are readily available.
Just skip ahead to what you need. There are many people that needed the information. It is obvious you have developed the skills already to do the tear down but many have not.
Been swamped with shop work, just now getn to watch!!! Wooohooo lets get it on!!!
A lot of people seem to be excited about this one!
Great vid. Doing it slowly, makes a good teacher.
I got a SXL 925 running today that had been setting for decades. It was a blast.
Great to hear!

Cool. I've never heard it called 'squish'.
Squish makes compression.
